"The only thing we have to fear is fear itself" Once said by Franklin D Roosevelt on the subject of the Great Depression. Those indeed are wise words, now let me quote another great man - Bill Struth... "Never fear, inevitably we shall have our years of failure, and when they arrive, we must reveal tolerance and sanity. No matter the days of anxiety that come our way, we shall emerge stronger because of the trials to be overcome. That has been the philosophy of the Rangers since the days of the gallant pioneers." To me, the above is the epiphany of our club, it's our core, our mantra. External influences have and will continue to hound our club, individuals and organisations will try to threaten our very existence. However we will always be here. NO ONE can eradicate our traditions or honour. Be us in administration, a lower division or even a Sunday league I will ALWAYS be proud to say that I support the Glasgow Rangers...no matter what. I know for a fact that I won't be alone in saying this. We're all cut from the same cloth, for us there is only one team in the world and we play in the red, white and blue. "No Surrender" is a lot more than a ditty belted out by our supporters. It summarises our club from grass roots level upward. Cast in steel and galvanised by thousands of loyal fans. It signifies each and every one of us standing tall and proud, united in the face of adversity. If there's ever been a time to stand up and be counted, it is now. (Apologies for making my first post on this forum a long one. I just felt the need to vocalise my support for our side. Broad or narrow, good or bad, we will follow on.) WATP Rangers till I die.
