He's Englands second top goalscorer since Hodgson took over (or second top goalscorer in the qualifiers, not sure which). On top of that he has endless energy and works hard for the team.

You could easily see the 5-3-2 formation replacing the 4-2-3-1 as the 'in' formation. The Mexicans and Dutch both looked impressive using it.

This World Cup has been brilliant so far, despite the referees messing up at times. A much improved refereeing performance in that match though.
