Sorry but banning them will just cause more negative stories, instead we should try to use the media to our advantage, they have a lot of power whether one likes it or not and it is important not to alienate ourselves from them by just spitting the dummy out the pram.

The football over the last year has been anything but Brazilian like. While it is unfair to ask for the sacking of a manager on the basis of one match, it is also not smart to get carried away because of one match.

We have an SPL quality (and paid appropriately) team, so the fact that some panic over not signing more for Division 3 doesn't represent a lot of confidence in the manager. ..

It's the poor performances that have been present for over a year, since Ally's first pre-season matches against that German amateur side, that have me worried. He has quite simply failed every single managerial test since taking charge. Champions League, Europa League, Scottish Cup, League Cup and so far, Division 3 (with top international players)...and I don't count SPL last year in that. I'm sorry but I could ignore all that if I could see the slightest piece of progress or direction for the team, but I don't. So my argument as to why I believe McCoist is not up to being a rangers manager is not simply based on three games. I respect that this is different from your opinion but I feel that you try to make it seem as though my view is an overreaction, when there is actually considerable evidence to back it up.

I do agree that the standard of refereeing in Scotland in generally very poor, and it comes, i think, partly from the culture that praises hard challenges and strength over skill and technique. I always said that the fact that the phrase "you don't get away with that in Europe" showed that our refereeing was far too lax, as it was also the same Europe that Scottish teams constantly get pumped out of. So yes i'd love some protection but just don't expect it and won't use the lack of it as an excuse.

Okay but that disallowed goal at the end was also poor officiating, it is no different for anyone else so lets stop playing the victim role.

Nah not buying it. They might want to make a name for themselves by scoring or keeping a clean sheet but not many want to be remembered as the guy who broke the leg of whoever. Also, a good number of these guys will be rangers fans.

Its not the two draws that worries me. It is that Ally had been manager for over a year now and we haven't seen any kind of progress or direction. The football today was the same as last August!...That is the problem.

This is getting ridiculous now. It doesn't help anyone to keep pretending that McCoist is a good manager and that we are the most unlucky team ever and everything goes against us. We are full time, we have certainly trained much more time than any other team in this league. Also, we got extremely lucky with that disallowed goal at the end, and to be honest Berwick deserved it. McCoist has not been good enough at any point in his managerial career so far and deluding yourself with excuses for him is not good for this club.

I didn't say it is right. However I think it is a fact that legally speaking, one would be in more trouble for using the word fenian than if they were to use the word h**. Furthermore, I don't think singing about the disaster is illegal, just incredible distasteful, and to be honest I think the potato song is pretty funny and am sure not a single person has ever been offended by it so it annoys me that it is looked upon so egregiously. Therefore complaining about things that don't really offend us will just make the situation worse.
