  1. We seem to care quite a lot when the media write something nasty about us.
  2. I don't believe the famine song is racist in any way, no, and to be honest I don't remember the media coverage but I will take your word for it that it was considered racist. This however is just the tabloid media stirring shit to sell papers as it always does, I think it is easier to make the racist accusation when the target is clearly of one background (not race), such as Ireland, than if it merely targets a football club which is open to all backgrounds, races etc and is a choice to join. Again I want to state that it is certain in my opinion that neither are racist, just that if the media wants to exaggerate either it is much easier to rationalise with the famine song. I think the cases are, while similar on the surface, too fundamentally different to compare as such, but I am sure if Celtic began to sing regularly and widely about murdering British citizens the media (who are British) would jump on it the same way as it will sell papers. Just my two cents.
  3. It's not a fucking war!!! I just support MY football team. If you want to be in a war I suggest enrolling in the army and heading out to Afghanistan...would change your perception of what is important.
  4. It is just banter. Are you honestly going to believe that if it were the other way around we would just accept it and move on...nah That's what football rivalries are about, getting one up on your rival and then making the most of it while you're there.
  5. How can it be racist when we are both, generally, caucasian and the banner does not target any specific race? I don't condone the banner in any way but I just think claiming it as racist is both futile and over the top.
  6. What is with the capital letter issue? Honestly i'd love to know. Why do you put the effort into adding capitals in the middle of the sentence for random words?
  7. The irony of this sentence is fantastic.
  8. To say no-one else would take the job is simply not true. It is a very attractive proposition as the manager will have three easy (for a good manager) years to implement their style and have a team exactly as they want it by the time they are really challenged. That is an opportunity that rarely presents itself in football. Personally I would allow Paul Le Guen a second chance, unlike Ally, it was clear to see that he had vision and ideas, and I think in hindsight many people now realise what we missed out on by turning on him so early. He has been successful since he left us and while I don't now if he would take the job, I think he would relish the chance to right his biggest managerial "failure".
  9. Another one... The managerial ability of Ally McCoist...
  10. Nobody needs to investigate Mr. Fullertons part in anything. Before deciding we are victimised and part of a conspiracy why don't you check some simple relevant facts. Such as the fact that Mr. Romanov is the owner of the bank to whom Hearts (SFL3 feeder club) owe money. Simple really. No need to get angry.
  11. Two things: 1. It may have something to do with the fact that their owner owns the bank to which they are indebted. 2. Lloyds Banking Group never "called in the debt", which suggests they suddenly wanted the £16m we owed, they merely took over the previous bank (Bank of Scotland) and decided that they wanted a more structured repayment plan (I believe Murray's friends were being fairly generous with the deal they had). Aside from the EBT case, which is still undecided, we were in a fairly healthy position before Whyte took over.
  12. Well they tried everything they could to stop us dropping to the third division, and our co-efficient is becoming more of a joke everyday so I think it would be of an all round benefit.
  13. I agree, the worst of it is when there are multiple threads devoted to mocking their obsession with us. I really don't want us to drop to their level, lets keep it above them.
  14. Maybe the media not picking up on it is to do with the fact that there is not one shred of evidence to support such a claim so far. I know it has never stopped them but one tweet doesn't make a story. Ohh and by the way, Sydney Govou is at Ross Hall getting a medical as we speak.
  15. I stand corrected. Although I think the childhood car crash makes it more of an exception.
  16. It was a genuine query, not just mocking. I wanted to know what was hoped to be achieved by this.
  17. The Ibrox disaster is completely different, you should not even mention them in the same sentence. It was a structural collapse of the stadium. The Hillsborough disaster was down to human error somewhere directly at the incident, each side tries to blame the other, and it will probably never be concluded who is correct. That is why I believe it should simply be laid to rest and instead of looking for blame or vengeance, we should simply remember the victims of such a tragedy.
  18. Sorry but this is getting ridiculous, how have the SNP pounded us? I am far from their biggest fan but we need to stop pretending to be victims all the time, what happened to the class that used to separate us from any other supporters.
  19. What countries are you talking about?...Scotland and... Please tell me what immigrants (who exactly) have demolished? Religion always leads to destruction, worthless in my opinion, and it's not like Scotland wouldn't exist if the Protestant church did not.
  20. Fucking hell only in scotland could a sex scandal be so ugly
  21. Excuse me but what is wrong with that post? Just because I don't hate my own country I am a tim? I think you got a little confused with that my friend
  22. If Scotland are the SFA team does that mean we a re Craig Whyte/David Murray FC? Pretty much the same connection.
  23. Thats it i'm gonna boycott adidas, nike and any other retailer that produces green products because they are funding the Peter Lawell mafia that has the Scottish, Westminster and European parliament all in their pocket and have therefore unfairly forced UEFA to ban us for three years (yeh its not like a simple google search could prove this to be standard) which im gonna protest by boycotting anything made in the eu, and will instead spend my money on a psychologist because i now hate myself for being born in the vatican republic of scotland (catholics are a complete minority but that doesnt matter) which is a direct child of the SFA who threw us into division 3 (although Regan twice tried to keep us in the SPL but we were outraged at that).
  24. Serious question so please don't be offended. Why is this still an issue? It was 23 years ago and I think it is almost certain that the fans were partly to blame for it so what is the point of this? To try to place the blame on the police? I know mistakes were made by many but why not just accept that it was a horrible accident and let it rest?
