For the likes of Dundee Utd, on a monday night, live tv, against ICT, thats actually a good attendance. There is a theory going around that without us and/or Celtic, teams like DU, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs, etc would actually prosper. They would have more chance of success in league and cup competitions, mainly because they would all be on the same financial scale. The more chance of success they have would see their own support rise. Even if its only by 2-3K per game over the season this is still more than what we bring to them over 2 league games at their ground, or even 4 games if you include Celtic. The peripheral income of live TV would be one draw back but not enough to put them out the box. And if it turns into a more competitive league, ie more than 2 possible winners(which it would) this would give them some clout in trading with TV companies. So its not all doom & gloom for the rest of Scottish Football if we "go away". We really are the only ones saying that.
