  1. Can we not just accept that we have made this country a footballing backwater by screwing everyone from the milkman(Robert Wiseman) to the taxman(HMRC)and if it wasn't for Craig Whyte, we would probably still be doing it. Unless someone comes in with a wad in the region of £200Million then its bye bye Rangers. Best if we start doing walking away now.
  2. Referees dont always give stonewall penalties, sometimes they dont see them from the angle they're veiwing it. I've watched it a few times on the bbc site and it clearly shows how much of a penalty it was. The defender doesn't play the ball at all and catches the back of Stokes ankle. Collums problem is he doesn't have the benefit of highlights, replays, etc.
  3. It was definitely a stonewall penalty, nae use denying it. What makes it better is, they didnae get it.
  4. I take it none of you actually watched the game and are basing you comments on hearsay. Couldn't see much of it in the pub on sunday but just watched the highlights on the bbc website and, for me, thats a stonewall penalty. Defender clearly gets no touch on the ball, and clips the back of Stokes ankle. Definite penalty and probably a red card, but delighted Collum never gave it. Howler of a decision. What was more interesting at the time was Lennon holding his own court of enquiry on the trackside at the final whistle. He pulled over some journo who had filmed it on his camera and they were playing it back to him as his players were going up for their medals.
  5. Did he say this in private or public? If they are "duty bound" to look into these things then how can he be blamed for what is happening? Obviously people within the club are trying to hide things that will further damage the club. If that is the case then they should be held to account. I'm not trying to speak on his behalf, I'm trying to find a balanced view on things. I read the full Regan Twitter that RTC put up, and if anything, he(Regan) didn't give anything away that would help damage us. Putting up the whole Twitter, instead of just the questions asked, would give it a more balanced argument, if there was an argument there. There wasn't one against Regan.
  6. Why didn't you put up the replies that Regan sent back? The replies would've shown that he didn't cave in to the pressure RTC was putting on him. Actually, the replies would put Regan in a bad light if you were a supporter of any other SPL team except Rangers because it made him look as though he was ignoring all these claims against us. But that doesn't fit in with the agenda.
  7. Tainted Love Always loved this version best Its great that the Tims are ripping their knitting at this but do you think they'll use the term tainted if the SFA/SPL take away any titles and cups from us.
  8. For the likes of Dundee Utd, on a monday night, live tv, against ICT, thats actually a good attendance. There is a theory going around that without us and/or Celtic, teams like DU, Aberdeen, Hearts, Hibs, etc would actually prosper. They would have more chance of success in league and cup competitions, mainly because they would all be on the same financial scale. The more chance of success they have would see their own support rise. Even if its only by 2-3K per game over the season this is still more than what we bring to them over 2 league games at their ground, or even 4 games if you include Celtic. The peripheral income of live TV would be one draw back but not enough to put them out the box. And if it turns into a more competitive league, ie more than 2 possible winners(which it would) this would give them some clout in trading with TV companies. So its not all doom & gloom for the rest of Scottish Football if we "go away". We really are the only ones saying that.
  9. At the time this new-look SFA board was convened was around the time Craig Whyte was moving in and many others were moving out. Is it no surprise if we have no one on it? The merry go round of board room changes instigated by Whyte has left us udderless for nearly a year. No leadership whatsoever. If we cant lead ourselves how do we expect to have someone in place to make executive decisions concerning the game in general. The only sympathetic eye on any panel would be Campbell Ogilvie and I wouldn't hold out much hope there. He will want to keep his hands clean of any crap thats floating around us. And if there are any truth in the allegations of illegal payments, then it is possible that he may have presided over some of them as Club Secretary and Director. Another "conflict of interest" possibly
  10. yes, but you still have to take out membership of the SFL to play in the League Cup. I've never been an idiot since ... ooh cant remember now, can you?
  11. wrong angle, although it does tie in with my surname. Keep going, dont think big, you'll get there
  12. If we were not members of ths SFL then we would not be allowed to take part in the Scottish League Cup. therefore we would not have won it 27 times.
  13. Well, a few on here are advocating joining them when/if the SPL give us the bullet at or before the end of this season. Telling them to "fuck off" because they want a look at our books isn't really going to endear us with them, is it?
