Let's hope that if there is anything to be proposed by BK, that this is actually something that happens this time, an official Best and FINAL Offer, we do not have the time for this. Trying to get to a point where a bid is just enough over weeks and months is not enough for Rangers.
Again, say what you like about Bill Miller, but he has been open about his plan, at least then we can judge if we like it or not. BK/TBK live on a PR spin through the Record.
We need to find a resolution, and if it is to be BK, then I will be perfectly happy, but not if the group are responsible for further delays.

Ally McCoist has stepped up when the club has most needed someone to galvanise us, keep us going, and keep us breathing.
No matter the outcome, I don't think he, or anyone else in his position could have done more.
Legend is so over-used, but in his case, it is true in a sense much broader than just his on-field exploits (which in themselves were a glory to behold, back in the day)
-
I have never supported, and nor do I even know, our registration number as a company.
-
So shite runs up a debt of £150+ milllion in 9 months??
Cool, that's a brand new number then?
-
Murray's blatant failure is in selling the club to Whyte.
The actions taken under Whyte are what put us into administration. I thought that we were probably heading into admin this season, but only because I thought we may lose the BTC, certainly not before the judgement was even made.
-
Presuming we will still have uncertainty (even with a preferred bidder in place) Saturday must be a day of thanks to Ally and the players for their efforts and sacrifices over the last few months, and a celebration.

Surely there are sanctions in place for any Football Club that chose to Liquidate.
Any body know this.
Well, if the club that liquidates doesn't exist any more, there is nothing to sanction, and the newco is a new entity, so how can you punish it for effectively inheriting a share in the SPL? I understand that the SPL board decide if they will accept the transfer of the SPL share or not, if they do, then the newco is in, if they don't, they are out.

No, of course not.
I wouldn't like to limit myself

I cannot wait till he suffers
I have a nice can of Lager in the fridge which I have left in there since Feb 14
I plan to drink as soon as the bears ok, I sense that will be soon
I hope so, if we miss another deadline, it might be walking out of the fridge on its own.

Not talking about just the bidders, but the people carrying the water for them among the supporters' groups, too.
The ones who demand transparency from everyone, except their favourites, who we should 'trust' do wind me up. No-one in particular obviously.
-
If it does, I hope they're held to account. They've been shameful throughout this process.
I'll be here to keep an eye on things, any winning bidder must be scrutinised throughout their tenure, and all bidders should know to expect it.
Honesty and transparency must be the words for the new owners to stick to.

I'm disgusted people are still parroting the liquidation as "last resort" or "Plan Z" line. It's not Plan Z and never was; it's Plan B, full stop. TBK and their friends in the support need to be held well to cause when/if that comes to fruition. Spun a web of bullshit to make supporters feel good instead of dealing with the facts of the situation.
If that comes to pass they will blame Whyte, the creditors, Murray, Duff & Phelps.
At least Bill Miller has been up front with his plans.
-
David Murray was Tuped, we were all Tuped.
Tbh I had no idea what this meant until I entered this thread, sounds horrific, hopefully just rumours
It's not horrific, it's not nice either.
If the company taking on the work have positions to fill, they will offer staff a contract to work for them, in line with their current contract, and transfer them, usually. In our case, it would be a very straightforward transfer I suspect, all staff on same terms to newco, if that is what happened.
-
If we keep our history then fuck it
Means there is no tax case
There is no threat to our history, there never has been, it was just another scare story... have you noticed recently how it has changed to protecting our 140 year unbroken line of history?
-
I assume comparisons don't matter, because Bill Miller's bid unravelled today didn't it? Didn't it?
-
TBK may get the call, makes more sense to give CVA a chance. Its in everybody's interests.
Please don't fall for the spin and lies.
Both parties aim for a CVA, and both may end up having to newco. One is putting up a bid that the creditors might wear.
-
"ah, it's just the craic, so it is, to be sure."
I've read the posts, get him done for hate crimes, it is clear cut.

Does anybody else have a vision of Monty Python and the Holy Grail? or Spamalot? with our Knights?
-
You know what ,this guy has a point ,we are sitting here like a bunch of lemons and the Clock is ticking .The guy is right we need to start asking some questions of the Administration Process and not sit Idly by and at the end of the Day cost us our Club and Future.
If its Newco then fare enough we need to move on ,if its a CVA out of Admin then the sooner we start the better.
Its our Club not theirs, and they are only interested in the Creditors and I think its time to focus on the Admin Process, and Screw the SFA and the SPL. For now .They arent going to go away and it looks as if they will just keep this rolling as they are Cowards and cant make decisions on anything.
Wishful thinking .
Disagree, they haven't had any real chance to do anything in terms of naming a PB, until now, when did you want them to do it? When unrealistic, conditional bids were in that they couldn't accept? At least accept that some of the blame is with the bidders.

Honestly, after the 'nodgate' I think he became permanently tuned out of my brain.

ITs not always bad. I've been TUPE'd before and barring the change of uniform never noticed the difference.
It can work out, I got a nice pay rise once, but it can be a bit uncertain.
-
would it not cost more, nursing agencies charge more per hour than a regular nurse is paid because the agency wants to make its own money also
They do, but then you have to take into account the cost of employment, pensions, training, sick pay, etc, in these sorts of deals. They can work, I'm not saying they always do.
-
It inflamed my anger when they didn't play it
I was looking forward to it, and Marc Almond really doesn't normally do it for me.
-
Fucking hell, Admin, please rename this thread ' If you enter this thread, you won't understand one fucking word anyone is saying.'
Sounds like my kinda thread!
Seriously, if you don't know about TUPE, then you are a lucky person, it is no fun to go through.
Really happy for Kerkar

Been really impressed with him, given that it always looked like we only signed him to keep Bougherra happy. Good pace, skill, control, energy and enthusiasm. A little bit awkward, but that seems to be part of his style.
