I would suggest using European Union Law relating to restraint of trade.

Mate. Thats a fucking brilliant idea. Im doing this tomorrow. Get yer message out tae as many people as possible. And copy the SFA in tae all the e mails.
Mind if I get the word out on Facebook, etc?
Go for it dude. (thank god it's Vauxhall that sponsor them, I love my Golf GTD)

Can we not play players as amateurs?
We cannot register new players over 18, I believe, I wouldn't think salary or not matters.
-
As dull and unexciting as it is compared to the various other suggestions of marches and singing songs, I am just writing to all sponsors listed on the SFA website to politely inform them that I will not be giving them any money while they are linked to the SFA. If a lot of people did that, it could have an impact, but I'm just doing it for myself.
-
In addition (and much more boring) we should certainly refuse to involve our players in any advertising or sponsorship for SFA competitions, no attendance at cup draws, no photo-ops, no tv/radio interviews, etc. Regardless of how much it may or may not damage them, there is no excuse for anyone to ever consider assisting the SFA in any way, shape or form ever again.

Miller will be out
If that is the case, I would have a lot of sympathy with him, why would anyone want to invest in a ridiculous little country like this?
-
Should definitely either sell them, or at least a 'fan's version' of them. I do have the red/blue tie, but I don't know where it came from, it was a gift.
-
I suspect that a number of the previously fringe players will be first picks for us in the next couple of years.
Unfortunately, I think that's a pretty safe bet.
-
This is all well and good, but I CANNOT believe what Lorenzo Amoruso said about us, he should never be allowed back in the country if that's what he thinks. Saying things like that are just beyond belief.

liquidation sees them get little or nothing.
Dude, unless I am missing this, you are going round in circles. TBK will make ticketus sweat because otherwise, we will be forced into liquidation, but if it isn't TBK with ticketus, then ticketus will force us into liquidation?
TBK cannot make ticketus sweat, TBK NEED ticketus, the funding of the takeover is coming from ticketus (first company to buy a football club twice in a row?), the underwriting for the shares issue seems to be coming from ticketus, the creditor getting all of their money back in the future, seemingly with no conditions is ticketus. Ticketus are the ones with ALL of the power, they are the ones who have made people sweat over the last two weeks, and will continue to do so. The only nervousness they could have is that someone can buy the club without needing them involved.
-
fuck sake that is mental imagine that happened in Scotland, Salmond would probably shut down the SPL
You can just see it at St. Johnstone v. Kilmarnock.
Tell you what though, if Celtic fans did it, they'd be praised as heroes by the media, remember, they are the only club in the history of football to be allowed to attack an opposing goalkeeper in a European tie, and then get the goalie done for diving.
-
no because then ticketus scupper the cva and its liquidation.
also ticketus bring whytes shares to the table.
So, what about your statement there makes you think that TBK can 'sweat' ticketus?

Much as I hate Dundee Hibs and Sellck, ALL football debts should be paid in full.
We have always extolled dignity and class as a club (Whyte excluded 100% from this statement, SDM not far behind) but we the fans have been fucking class since admin - lets show the world how good we really are, use RFFF for small creditors as previously suggested.
I don't see why the footballing debts should be any different to any other debts.
The brightest moment in the whole admin process for me was the jumping up and down by the media and Dundee United when RFFF paid Dunfermline by not United.
Their fans being so outraged at being called dishonourable, and Chick Young failing to understand that the RFFF choosing to pay off any debt is a fantastic gesture, and that they can choose whoever they want. Class.
Those who have actively worked against us should get no favours, now or ever.
-
No disrespect to people providing info, but I will wait until a few things have happened before resting easy:
1) An official announcement that they are preferred bidders
2) The actual transfer of shares to them from CW
3) The official agreement of a CVA with creditors.
Beyond that, I continue to have severe reservations about TBK, their funding, and their future plans, but, we are where we are, anything which gives a hint of certainty in the short term will be more than welcome.
-
Oh that sounded so dodgy:
'Celtic bringing some kids over from Thailand'
-
ticketus desperately need tbk now.
So? If TBK can't fund the bid without ticketus, the power is only one way, if TBK can fund the bid without ticketus, then they should and leave ticketus with the rest of the creditors.
-
I shout that a lot. Yesterday at Tynecastle, I shouted out 'Excellent soccer there in the mixing zone' when we did a nice little move in midfield'. I got a few folk who noticed my comment and looked at me and smiled, probably because of my excellent use of the english language.
I shouted 'Look lively' once, and spent the next hour in fear for my life.
-
ticketus must be sweating now. tbk can really squeeze them now.
TBK can't squeeze ticketus in any way, shape or form, because they will need their money, or underwriting for years to come. The best way to squeeze ticketus is to tell them to sling their hook and get as much as they can from a CVA. Any money that ticketus get from Rangers which is more than the CVA penny in the pound agreement is money we don't have to pay them.

You would choose Soccer over Football, as Soccer is a derivation of Association Football? Because football might not be too far from it either.
It's football, primarily for the reason that it's football, always has been football, and always will be football. It's in our great club's name as football, and by the way, it's football.
Although, I can't wait to hear one of the guys in the enclosure shouting 'Lovely soccer, Rangers'.
By the way, I am inherently silly.

Always thought the name Blue Knights sounded like a group of male strippers
Anywhere we can get additional funding from would be welcome. Paul Murray must do his bit by collecting fivers and tenners in his G-String.
-
they couldn't come close to buying Kennedy 10 times over.
I definitely need to find my sarcasm emoticon, it might be the lowest form of wit, but it's all I've got.
-
Is it possible that TBK are playing down the level of money available to them to avoid paying out more to creditors, then when the club emerge from administration the big money men who untill then have remained unknown and in the background will step forward and pump some serious working capital into the club .. or is that just wishful thinking on my part ?
All potential owners should be doing this, but TBK's forward plan for funding the club seems to be down to a shares issue, presumably a chunk of which will go to paying off ticketus, this really concerns me. I don't want to pay money into the club to pay off someone who has managed to avoid being part of a CVA.

I do hope that a lot of fans remember this next season, and beyond. We need to survive, and the comeback may not be quick, we don't need a bunch of people calling for the manager's head when we struggle to beat teams that we might have found easy to beat historically. We don't always have the best memory about these things.
If Ally stays, and guides us through the next few years, even with no trophies, he may well demonstrate himself to be one of our best ever managers.
-
I'm curious about this, certain poster has claimed they could outbuy other parties ten times over? Although you keep asking and they choose not to answer
Anyone who could buy Brian Kennedy ten times over sounds like a good option. Of course, they have LOTS of money, but it is just a bit easier if they borrow more from ticketus, with interest rates, etc.

It sounds like fun, I would suggest looking at the Fit and Proper Person test and their role as a regulatory body in the takeover of the club by Craig Whyte - go for a claim of £27m.
Further to that, their arbitrary law-making and punishment against precedent set in previous cases.
