  1. Just to let you know the scarves will be available tomorrow from the Megastore as per usual and Programme Sellers will also have a stock with them. There are 25 Programme Sellers dotted around the stadium therefore will be much easier to find if you are looking for 1 (or 2, or 3 or 10! ) Massive thank you to RFC for helping enlist their assistance. As with JJB, the full £10 will be going back into the fund. We are concious that this may effect the programme sales so if you can, please get a programme at the same time to help boost their sales! Every little helps the Club! We have made the RFC website again and as it say's the fund raising continues! My link Thanks again for the continued support, Stu and the Red & Black Team
  2. Cheers PS95! wouldn't be possible without the help of the fans! Thank again for al your supports!

  4. Hello m8,

I bought one of the scarfs and you should get a lot of credit for coming up with such a good idea in our hour of need and for for keeping the heid when all around are losing theirs.

Tis has got to be the worst time in my life following the bears and I am 51 yrs of age ,so have seen good and bad but this situation at present is brutal impounded by all the shown ra...

  5. Seriousy WVB, what is your problem. If you dont like the idea, fine, but some of your comment are rediculous. .
  6. How do you know? We've had meetings with the Club this week re: this and will buying match tickets and contributing to the RFF. The Red Black Campaign started before the RFF was even thought of hence why we went down the route of the tickets. We are more than happy to contribute to the RFF like everyone else. We're all pushing in the same direction, any negative comments I cannot understand. JJB's are taking no cut, this is why it's cash only.
  7. Nothing would be possible without the support of the fans! We well and truely are the people! WATP
  8. Everything with Royal Mail my friend, 1st Class. We initially got delayed due to the manufaturers not sending on time but got caught up with the orders over the weekend!
  9. Cheers CB, when the idea started there was no such thing as the RFF. However after meeting with Sandy Jardine and the Club this week we have agreed a way of buying tickets for the remaining games as well as making a donation to the fighting fund! Buying tickets goes along wae to filling the stadium, getting young bears there who may never have got the chance before and therefore creating more future bears!!!
  10. As I said yesterday, problems with the delivery from manufacturers but all who have ordered so far will receive for Old Firm game. re: vendors selling them. Well this was always going to happen. Up to the fans to buy only from outlets we have approoved. At the moment The Bristol Bar, The Louden (Copland Road) have them and we will hopefully bet more outlet before the game this week.
  11. Fellow bears, I was the guy who came up for the idea of the Red and Back campaign and totally respect everyones views on it. If it'a not for you then fine, fair enough. We looked at adding some embroidery onto the scarf, namely one of the clubs very first crests, however after speaking with the manufaturers and costs this would incur we dicided to go for the plane scarf. After all, the more money saved means the more money goes into the club. The reason for the colours are on the website. Why are they not red white and blue? Everyone has a blue scarf, the idea was that something different to show the the fans united at this time and something that would get people talking saying "hey, they Ranger fans have really got behind their club" etc. Along the lines of what happend with the Man U fans. Only ours will be benefiting the Club. People who say thee are not Ranger colours are simply wrong. I've seen a few peope suggesting this will be lining the pockets of the Trust etc. I can personaly asure that will not be the case and once the campaign is over we will produce details of everything to show clear tranparicy. Match tickets will be purchased with the profits and hopefully once distributed round the schools this could help produce another bunch of young bears who will want to return. Also, a kid getting a free ticket is more likely to turn up to Ibrox with a tenner from their parents to spend on programs etc. WIN WIN situation. Myself and the guys involved in this have put a lot of there own time and money into this with no gain whatsoever except being happy that we done our wee but to help the club. Thats the whole reason this was started. If anyone has got any questions on this then I'll be happy to answer any.
  12. I asked for help from the assembly, SaveRangers.com but no response was received. If we went it alone alot of people would not have beleived it was legitimate. Just a sign of times I guess.
  13. Hello hello fellow bears. I thought I'd register here as well given some of the flak headed my way re: the redblackrangers campaign. I was a member with follow follow for many years as I never knew there were other forums out there like this. I'm a season ticket holder at Ibrox and have been for 8 years. Sitting in the East Enclosure if anybody who knows me on here can verify. Anyway's, I came up with the idea of making a scarf to try and raise some funds for the club in it's hour of need. What started off as a wee idea has now grown into the redblackrangers campaign. Firstly, let me say if it's not your cup of tea then I totally respect that. It's all about opinions after all. The reason I came up with the red and black colours are that it has a close link to the club but stands out from the traditional red, white and blue colours. The red and black are the traditional colours for the home socks, the colours of the ancient borough of Govan and also the colous Red and Black were the colors of the Swifts - The Rangers reserve (or 'A') team - originally known as the Swifts - are Scotland's most succesful reserve team. Their colours were red and black vertical strips (ala AC Milan) which represented Govan. I got in touch with a fellow bear who was willing to fork out on the initial outlay of scarves from his own pocket which on it's on was a massive gesture and risk at the same time. I started off contacting the SaveRangers campaign, the RST and Assembly for help as I knew myself if it was going to take off it would need some official backing. Anyways, the RST were the only people to get back in touch with us and help us to move it forward by officially backing it. I've seen a lot a comments from people saying this is a money maker for the Trust etc but that is simply not true. They are backing the idea and have put us in touch with the web designers etc however NOBODY, and I can assure you NOBODY will make any profit from this apart from the club. The idea is to use the profits made to invest back into the club through match ticket sales and then distribute them to local schools, bb's etc. All the details are on the site. The scarves are £2.15 + VAT to make and all profit will go to the club. I aim to be 100% transparent with everybody and all details of the whole campaign will be reguarly updated on the site for anyone who has any concerns. As I said, this was an idea started by myself and helped along by a fellow bear. I hope everyone gets behind it but I'm aware it not everyones cup of tea which is no probelm. For me, the end result is the future of the Club and this is why it started. I hope this answers any concerns. cheers again bears, Stuart
