  1. Maybe in your eyes but to be honest as soon as one of your points is answered you go onto another one.i am defending the scheme not Richard,to be honest he is more than able to answer any questions, but you have only accusations. In what way is he like Mark Dingwall? I don't see any comparisons whatsoever. The only thing I see they have in common is they were both in the Boys Brigade
  2. Any Rangers fan can be involved, but no SOS were not represented tonight
  3. Spoke to Richard tonight,he has met Peter Lawwell once when Lawwell shook his hand after St Mirren beat celtic in semi final of League Cup.thats his only recollection of meeting him.Hope that clears that up
  4. Similar goals, different set up - I prefer Rangers First. If it is a race to have the fans represented at the club then everyone is a winner.
  5. Timing wise, I think now is as good a time as any. Rangers First is independent of what Graham Wallace is doing - We want the fans to have an increased voice with the club. That is not a criticism of the board. It won't matter who is on the on the board we still believe this is the right path. I will specifically ask Richard whether he has had any dealings with Peter Lawwell regarding Rangers. I will also get back to you. He's been totally upfront with me so far. As to how much work Richard is doing, anyone that has put their name forward will tell you he is working hard - If you were involved you would appreciate how much work he is doing. Graham Wallace will not be distracted by us. I think you are doing him a disservice to suggest otherwise. I have had some very limited dealings with the man and he comes across as the consummate professional. An impressive individual. P.S. This is nothing to do with RST or any other fan group. It is being transparent and will continue to be so going forward.
  6. This is an example of people spreading misinformation. Both meetings have been thoroughly minuted and are available to view. Anyone at the meeting will tell you that they are an accurate representation of what was discussed. Why are you lying? There really is no need. As for the followers - I think 2k is a good number before the CIC has been launched. How many do think they should have at this stage?
  7. That was the young one, everyone is equal just some more equal than others.
  8. Please respond to this: With regard to being all talk and no action. I can assure you that Rangers First is on track for the timings set out. Its all on schedule. How do figure out that he is doing nothing? He's in constant contact with a number of lads from the meeting, I am personally happy with Richard and the work he is doing. I don't know anything about Lawwell, but what was he and Richard speaking about? And when? And how do you work out that it means Richard is not to be trusted. I think it is naive to think that everyone that speaks to Peter Lawwell in any situation is anti Rangers. You don't trust Richard, but I think that people who have encountered the lad more have a bit better handle on the reality of the situation. And to seeing the back of him - you won't have to worry, once this is set up and working correctly Richard will move on to his next project and the members of RF will be in control (OMOV). I think the key point here is the last: In what way is Rangers First causing disruption to the club? Can you expand on that please.
  9. I appreciate that your answer has taken you some time to put together - though I think its fair to say it has done nothing to bring forward the debate. Could you please take the time to answer the question I have put to you. Otherwise it would appear that you don't have answers and your analogy is a way of avoiding the questions. I think we should all enter this debate fairly and honestly and answer where we get our opinions from. Thanks

  11. I'm not entirely sure what you mean with the last comment. Do you mean that he doesn't know about CICs and is just blagging it? Also, can you clarify what your allegation re: REA and Liewell is? I asked earlier and you didn't respond You do know that REA has worked with St Mirren, Dunfermline, Hearts and Kilmarnock as well as Rangers? He is a lad that believes in CICs and community ownership of football clubs.
  12. You don't know either of them but you know who you would trust? How does that work
  13. From a personal point of view I have spoken to hundreds of people over the last two weeks about this and no one is totally against it,the general feeling is once it's public they will make up their minds, that is all you can ask of people. But as I say there is a few people on message boards seem to be in a panic(,spreading false information) trying to derail the CIC
  14. Have you had a look at some of the other groups that are run by Rangers fans
  15. Rangers fans will run it when it is operational.
  16. Why does a very few folk seem to be terrified this CIC works. There is no one in The Louden that has the expierence to make this work, yet
  17. Corky/s wrong, and Richard understands the CIC inside out. The whole point of this is that none of the fans are in charge ,once it is up and running, will be one person one vote.no fans groups,no cliques, and no blazer chasers The CIC has not launched yet ?
  18. Who said Rangers first would not give Graham Wallace time, the buying of shares has nothing to do with the 120 day consultation. Do you have a quote for this,Rangers First have no hidden agendas.
  19. Richard is not here to fund the buying of shares,he is here to show us,the support how to purchase an interest in our club.I suggest we all wait to see the finished product on offer before the ghost stories start
  20. Not really sure how that question follows from what I said but I'll answer it anyways We haven't heard anything more because the next meeting is on Monday - they have sent out the skills audits to anyone who asked for more info. I believe on Monday they are going to sort our the 'working parties' and who goes into what section. So I guess the work will begin in earnest from then. I don't know what the allegation between REA and Liewell but I will ask - can you can clarify?
  21. There were some who come under both categories at the meeting - though the vast majority don't fit either bracket. From a personal point of view I don't think the RST are any more relevant to Rangers First than any other supporters group or organisation. RF has made a point that it is about all Rangers fans getting involved together - If you feel the fans should get involved and work with the club or you think the support should hold a bigger shareholding then there is something in this scheme that seems to fit. Obviously the details are still to be nailed down 100% and I wouldn't expect anyone to get behind it until it is but I like what has been said. I also think there is a desire for something to be done in this sphere. If its best for Rangers I'm sure we'll all find a way to get behind it. Time will tell
  22. He's been in the pub a number of times so I'm sure he's partaken in a pie They are good pies to be fair
  23. Its a fair point - I'll pass it on, but you know whether people want to listen or not isn't relevant to him
