  1. Is tonights disgraceful news anything to do with the the quote which was made?

"which was unforseen yesterday and should not have happened."

Sometimes folk get good information from reliable sources then, through no fault of the poster, there's many a slip twixt cup and lip. I've posted stuff before that hasn't come to fruition - such is life.

TB made the thread yesterday in good faith. This is an internet forum - anyone betting their house on information on here (or elsewhere) is somewhat naive.

In any event, even if TBK had been made PB today (or tomorrow) that's just the start of the end game, so the time for rejoicing wasn't last night, or today, or tomorrow - it's a long way hence.

  2. Thats just the SFA admitting they're taigs. We've known it for the last 2 years and they've shown their true face.

Everything we do now must be with the aim of destroying the current organisation. All monies for away games must be paid towards Rangers and Rangers only and any assistance either at club or supporter levels must be withdrawn

  4. Agree with you but patience is the word here. Look at everything that's happened over the last year, I can't allow myself to celebrate anything till it's signed, sealed and delivered.

I'm not sure why there's anti TBK feelings on here, I can't say I'm for or against them but they seem to be the only consortium who's first plan isn't liquidation.

Hopefully tomorrow night the admin on here are correct and we're on our way to stability but the one thing I am glad about, most of our support are much more cynical towards owners than we've ever been and that's the way it should stay.

Cannot believe people are reacting negatively to this post.

This is the happiest I've felt ALL YEAR as a Rangers fan, forgive me, winning the "be part of the squad" competition and getting pre-game access to Ibrox and meeting Sir Walter was the happiest moment for me before pumping the scum 3-2 at Ibrox.

But aye, this is the best news we could have had.

  5. I stopped listening to BBC shellick a long time ago now, it's only on when I have no way to watch or listen to our games.

That said, Gordon is a total chunt. A snivelling arsehole that fits in well with the others on that station. Traynor is a lump of rotten shite, no talent whatsoever as a 'reporter'.

I wonder if their listening figures have dropped recently?

I really hope when this is all over our club remembers these bastards.

  6. pretty embarrassing really....

it's an eye opener as to why we'll never be a united support, depressing IMO

I wonder if any of the idiots throwing mud would like to stand up for Rangers supporters, face ridicule from our own support and other supports and be brave enough to face our detractors in the media..

    Thought not

Our club could be going down the tubes but it's more important to some to throw mud at Mark Dingwall.

  7. I mailed them 30 mins ago before seeing this thread, the fact they won't listen to proposals till the 30th is ensuring we are still in administration at the end of the season.

If we withdraw support from away grounds we'll cost the league more than losing the sky deal. We could setup an away grounds fund that goes towards Rangers

  8. That's not what I said, hence the inevitable bit

WBA are trying to profit before there's any culmination of administration.

And when was the last time we managed to pull of a deal for a player on the cheap? Ignoring the fact that martin bain was a useless ****

Yeah, because we'd never dream of taking advantage of a club's financial problems to sign players.

  9. I think he does, hence why he's pleading with them to act in the best interests of the club and supporters.

I got a nice reply from him, I'm sure it won't suit many on here but the fact that Mr Fraser has stood up for what he believes makes me think differently of the tories.

Inevitably I have had a fair amount of abuse for putting my head above the parapet from sources that you might expect (many of whom seem to be confused about which Party I represent!), but the negative comments are more than outweighed by the supportive ones.

Debating independence / the Union in this thread :anguish:

    Back to topic:-

It's a nice letter, but he doesn't understand what the administrator's objective is and what they are duty bound by the courts to do.

  10. I'm the same, I haven't bought a redtop in years.

The sports media up here are repugnant. They suckled on Murray till he lurched into the darkness, Murray wouldn't defend the Rangers either but once he'd gone it was open season on us.

Traynor wishing our support had been battered in Osasuna, Keevins proclaiming we're nazis, they'd sell their granny for a story but don't have the guile or intelligence to actually do their job and prefer to make stories rather than investigate them.

They should have asked questions 12 years ago, we should have too but these people are paid to report news.

What turned it for me, strangely enough it was a scotland game. It was in the redtops building up to Burley's first game as manager. Traynor, dung etc reporting that the squad had fallen out.

Listening to BBC Scotland radio for the Macedonia game they were like slavering hounds, the knives were out before he'd had his first game and I thought it despicable. Similar to the treatment of Ferguson and McGregor

  11. For me it'll always be the 88 5-1 game against them

I remember it raining at the start, powder macfanny scored and it seemed very grim..

The rain cleared and the sun came out, i remember wilkins goal but being in the copland I didn't realise how stunning it was till i saw the replays.

A cup game on the wed after it (clydebank?) I bought a mag with the "dracula andrews" poster, he canny handle crosses :uk:

  12. For me the only credible bid is TBK. We know nothing about the other 2 bids also like with Whyte (otherwise known as scumbag).

Unfortunately it's down to the admins who buys us over, I'm not sure I trust them either but they'll do what's best for the creditors.

I don't understand what happens next with scumbag and his shares?
