  1. Agreed! I'd much rather he done a Cantona, kicked the fucking head clean off one of the mutants giving him the abuse.
  2. Aye, had he been a striker he'd have made a better job of it i suppose. Good effort anyway, Leon!
  3. Anything in this spitting thing? Taigs are saying he spat at them when leaving the pitch. Disgusting thing to do, but all in all, he'll have slighted redeemed himself in my eyes if true ...
  4. Had we a decent finisher, we'd have won yesterday.
  5. He had our best attempt on goal, bar Tav's FK. Hart made a good save. He never hid no, was our best attacking threat in the game, kept trying to drive at them the whole game, even at the very end he made a great chance for Dowell to score, who made a cunt of it. People saying he wasn't ready. Does that mean all the other far more experienced forward players were less ready? It's pish! He did okay, alongside Yilmaz who also did okay. Sterling and Lundstram were our only decent players. November's player of the month ffs. He's still raw, had we a better forward line i think he would've been used an an impact sub at the moment, to try to come on and make things happen as needed. He needs to be in the gym more, bulk up, work on his final decision making. But that can all be done, is achievable with good coaching and development. If we had a decent finisher we'd have won yesterday. I get we're all hurting and annoyed, there are plenty reasons we lost yesterday, and people to blame. Ross McCausland is not one of them.
  6. We allowed McGregor to run the show for 70mins or so. We had our chances but couldn't finish our dinner, except the usual bit of quality from Tav, despite woe crossing from him rest of the game. Let's hope the Portuguese can finish, and let's hope our Manager has seen enough to drop/move on those who need it, and gets the board to back him to some degree. League's very much still on. Not as annoyed as was with some of the past performances against them. Too many big players didn't turn up, but no one hid or shat it. Did i mention we so need a finisher ...
  7. Decent finisher and we would've won today. We had our chances. No one hid or shat it. Sterling and Lundstram were decent, Yilmaz and McCausland were okay. The rest of the outfield players didn't have good games. The officials were woeful. But had we taken our chances we'd have won. Pretty even game over the piece. Though Cantwell is starting to annoy the fuck outta me
  8. He was, and he didn't even have a good game, which speaks volumes about the forward line. He never hid, was always trying right up to the end with the opportunity for Dowell. He also probably had our best shot on goal which Hart made a good save with. Game certainly didn't pass him by like has happened to others on their first OF. But unless we get a clinical finisher, we'll not improve there. We had our chances to win that game.
  9. Tav's deliveries have been woeful today, then he comes up with that, pure quality.
  10. Win our 2 games, it's only 2 points. But we need a finisher so badly in Jan, nevermind the Portuguese.
  11. Wouldn't have taken Lundstram off, though maybe still not fit. Sterling best player today. McCausland hasn't had the best game, but best of the front 4, who have been so bad. Let's hope the Portuguese can finish, as we've fuck all else.
  12. Some finish from the wee cunt. We haven't even played bad, just can't finish, and denied a stonewall pen.
  13. Still in this, even enough game. We'd have chances, just not clinical enough.
