cheers for this. this says that they are similar to pensions but without them having control over them. So...... me and my work pay in to my pension, do i have "dual contracts"?? on top of my wage, they pay £x into my pension which means i get more from my company than they tell the hmrc.

but in both cases, Rangers are still paying him £10k which will be what is stated in the contract details given to the clowns at hampden.

i don't understand what they are going on about regarding "dual contracts". lets use big Jig as an example. Rangers pay Jig £10k a week and tell the SPHell this. now after tax/ insurance he would get £6k but if it went through an ebt, he gets £8.5k a week. so he is getting £10k a month through an ebt rather than the normal tax/ insurance. At the end of the day, Rangers are still paying him £10k a week so how can he have dual contracts?? how and where he gets it paid is nothing to do with Rangers. add to that, using EBT's is legal. it may just be me being stupid but can anyone explain?

The SPL clubs are having the meeting today to decide if they should accept the Rangers back into the SPL. How the hell can that clown running what can only be described as a circus, state that a decision may not be made today. They all not what is being asked, the mark YES/NO on a sheet and put it in a box. They then count these votes and confirm the result!! It should be done right and black/ white balls should be used

The players are giving reasons claiming that they want to play at the highest level, win things etc but are reportedly linked to teams like Southampton, WBA, Sunderland, Sheffield Utd. No disrespect to any of these teams but even in the 3 years it would take Rangers to get back in the SPL (if the sham of a league still exists)very few of them will actually have won anything (unless relegated to the Championship) or played much European football. If being relegated was good enough for guys like Buffon, Del Piero, Nedved, Trezeguet etc with Juventus back in 2006 then surely our players should be having a good long hard look at themselves!

The point would be to show that we do not want to go to the First Division just so the rest of the SPL teams get to keep the SKY money. Without it, they are f#cked.

Since it seems that other clubs are giving their fans the power to decide whether or not The Rangers should be accepted back into the SPHell, is it not about time that Mr Green gave us a vote to see if we wanted to be back in it? I for one say we go to division 3 and f#ck the rest of the diddy teams!! It's funny how the boards of the other teams are allowing their fans to make what could be the biggest decision Scottish football but i can guarantee they won't be giving their fans the power to make other big decisions!! No more bending over or pandering to the SPL or SFA!!
