  3. Wasn't in Barcelona , but remember that night as if it was yesterday. Was 16 and still at school. Game wasn't shown live, they only transmitted the game after it was finished. Had arranged with my mate to watch it probably about 10-30pm . I couldn't wait though , so listened to it on the radio, so knew the score before I watched it . Nothing like the TV coverage you get today : black and white picture , poor reception, but f uckin magic.........History can be changed to suit agendas but memories are true and forever.
  4. Phil You seem like a good guy. And a buddie too. I'm from Glenburn long time ago. .. The song your grampa gave you was a song about the love for Glasgow Rangers . It wasn't about hating Catholics or any of that shit . That's where I stand . I'm an old guy who loves Rangers.... Fastrax's a self confessed bigot who would have them not signing Catholics . FFS it's the 21st century . The poem was nice ( but I'm not convinced .. Sorry )) Take care kid follow follow
  5. Got no axe to grind with you son .. I think you tell a genuine Rangers story. Was there with my grampa 30 years before. Watched Jim Baxter on my first game . Just telling you how I see things now .... Fastrax's no friend of Rangers
  6. I know I'm going to get dog's abuse ....But I'll never lie to you .......Hello Hello. J. Be wary of Fastrax he has an agenda
  7. What a poem: fuc kin magic ..Father to son, bonding .Made the hairs on the back of my arse stand on end .. Then to find " Happy 12th July Everyone #2 " that his sweet little daughter's birthday was on the 12 th of July ...What a coincidence. ? How lucky can one guy be ?
  8. Sad news.... What a tragic waste of a young life. Didn't know Craig personally, but my daughter knew him slightly. She says " he was a really nice big guy ". Went to the sports centre in Linwood today to see all the tributes. It's a really impressive display of affection towards him : some lovely messages of sympathy. Hope they help the family in some small way to get through this difficult time.
  9. My grandpa would buy me one at the paper vendor , just outside Burtons : at the Paisley cross There was always a Rangers and celtic version : black and white photo with the blue printed shirt.... Jim Baxter, wee Willie Henderson, big George McLean, Jim Forrest , Alex Willoghby to name just a few........If only they were with us now.
  10. Fastrax....believe what you will, you're views mean nothing to me. But some advice...any rabid taig who comes onto this forum is not going to disagree with you or your ideas . Why ? Because you're exactly the type of Rangers fan they want to experience when they come visiting. For them : you tick all the boxes.
  11. The enemy within.......for sure !
  12. Our club is dying, and all you want to do is blame and hate Catholics.... You just don't f uckin get it !
