Mckenzie, Clarkson and Miovski are better players than what we have in their positions. Barron played very well too. Sokler looked good too but not seen much of him this season.

He didn't give the 'foul' as it happened, he waited til Carter Vickers had committed the penalty then gave it as a get out clause to avoid awarding the penalty. There was no advantage being played, it wasn't an offside type call the officials were waiting to see how play developed before puting flag up etc. It wasn't a foul, wasn't given until he needed it to be a foul. We need Sterling in n midfield, that's the priority. Got to hope Yilmaz can make it as he's naturally a left back. If he can't then from what's left its Barisic, Davies or Balogun. PC clearly and rightly doesn't rate Barisic so for me it leaves Balogun to come in and cover. It's as much a risk leaving Sterling at LB and having the midfield containing 2 from Lundstram / Diamonde / Lawrence / Raskin given each of them has been shite or missing recently. Grim.

I'd have Lundstram Sterling and Diamonde as more advances midfielder starting on Sunday. No Catwell or Lawrence starting. Need Yilmaz / Balogun fit to free up Sterling.

Since the winter break he's played domestically 12 times winning 11. After Motherwell we won the domestic game versus Hibs then he's been out and our season has nosedived. In no way do I reckon its all down to him not being available but I think it's fair for folk to say he's been missed. I'm desperate to see him return to allow Sterling to add steel to the midfield instead of Lawrence. Whether PC would make that move I'm not sure, but it at least gives us the chance for it to happen. Edit. I'd grab the money we spent on him if we could get it back in the summer.

Up front is woeful, the press is all wrong and for weeks few of our front 4 have got passmarks. They've been easily bypassed, and then our holding 2 (typically not even naturals in that position other than Lundstram) are being outnumbered. Teams getting at our defence too easily as a result. They're pretty much all playing shite individually and collectively, with little confidence, but for me it's our forward 4 who are the causing the issues for the players as available. I do think Yilmaz back and Sterling in midfield could alleviate some of the problems, but we really need more from the front guys with creating and taking chances and pressing / chasing back when out of possession. Am sure plenty will disagree 😂 Edit. Lawrence is a disgrace so he needs personally highlighted.

The team is giving everything apparently. The reaction was good. The only problem was not finding the back of the net. It's either delusion or bullshit to back his players.Time will tell which.
