For me fenian means seltic player/fan/minded person. This individual can be of any faith/religion/nationality. Like many words it has more than one meaning and has different meanings to different people.
-
You would think a decent lawyer would of torn their case to shreds. How do they know what he means by the word fenian, when singing/posting the song? How many times has the Billy Boys been sung/written/posted etc, (millions) and is there any evidence of people wading in blood or killing others for not surrendering after singing the song. It's obvious the words are not to be taken literally, and any lawyer/judge how says otherwise is either thick or lying.
-
The idea that the song is threatening (surrender or you'll die) and could initiate violence is ridiculus. The song is well known and is sung in various forms by supporters of a number of clubs. The worlds gone f&cking crazy.

He played well today, both going forward and at the back.

We are a new Rangers, if you are refering to the company, Walter was wishing the new company luck after the failed take over bid.
-
Having never seen Pandza play it's hard to judge, although i would go for the younger player if they are of similar quality.

Not sure i like the sound of this Judge Bishop. He basically says there is no such thing as a club anymore but business's who's objective is maximising profits for shareholders. How many clubs in the UK regularly pay out dividends? I would imagine not that many. A football club is more than a incorporated company.

Wasted as a CB, with his talent he should be played as a CF, 50 goals a season easy.

Article on the Scotsman website saying BBC and NUJ supporting Spence after "abuse" from Rangers fans. Playing the victim card, both predictable and pathetic.

Having read a variety of reports regarding Coventrys financial situation, i have yet to find one which states they have somehow become a new club. Journalists down south (including the BBC) have had no problem accurately reporting the events.
Compared to up here where there has been a clear agenda to portray us as a new club, with BBC Scotland one of the main offenders. It might be worth while for thoses complaining to the BBC to highlight the difference in the BBC's reporting of Rangers and Coventry. Not only did they push the new club lie hard in the first few months after we exited administration, but they are still over a year later and with a BBC Trust ruling against them, still refering to us though the comments of the likes of Jim Spence as a new club.
Surely the trust would have to look at again it's judgement that BBC Scotland is not guilty of institutional bias?
-
There must surely of been at least a few occasions where the club could of successfully sued individuals or organisations who have broadcast lies about us. This might of made others less reluctant to do the same.

I've got two daughter's who have no interest in football at all. Any idea how to get them interested? Sign Justine Bebber and they would be there in a flash.
-
Lawwell has no interest in the developement of the Scottish game. He is only interested in his own club so he should be nowhere near any board/committee which is involved with the game in Scotland.

Voted for Rebel Blood but no 11 would do and there is no way they could ban it.

Any money due to the oldco from the Spl had to be payed to the Newco. It was in the agreement between the Administrators and the Newco and has been confirmed by BDO.The £2.3 million would have went to oldco and the creditors. If we had not got a licence the company which runs the club would have went bust. We all know our club was raped while these idiots stood by since the taxman told them in September. Now is the time for the fighting fund to be used, I would drag these cunts through every court in the land. Yes they needed us for the last year of the sky deal but to be railroaded into this new sky deal without a vote( considering we get the highest viewing figures is a joke). And to enter a deal with sky which is a secret like the five way agreement is a disgrace. As long as our fans are divided, our enemy's will beat us. If enough fans want this challenged then they should let the fighting fund know. I donated and would gladly donate again and again, if it meant we got justice.

I think you might be right, without Rangers prize money they would of been struggling to meet their financial obligations without us in the league. Once the SPL voted not to transfer our share between companies why were they so heavily involved in our discussions with the SFA regarding our membership transfer. What had it to do with them?I suspect that the truth is if we hadn't waived the £2.3m the SPL would not have had enough money to meet their commitments to the clubs. It's a bit odd that even though they had an extra £2.3m to spread around they could only then pay a proportion of what was due to each club on the date payments were due. Basically they were probably trading while insolvent. It would be interesting to know if any club was actually paid all of the money due to them on the date due while others were put in financial peril by having to wait for half of their money.

The papers did report on a earlier draft version of the five party agreement (which included title stripping). The SFAs spokesperson said they would issue a statement within 48hrs regarding the allegations but we are still waiting for it. For some reason the papers never followed the story after that, i wonder why?
-
They took our prize money and dished it out to the other SPL clubs with a formula which payed a % depending on league position. i.e. septic got the most. Dont forget they also wanted title stripping included as well. Compare and contrast with the FA 's punishment of Coventry.

We are where we are. Scotlands most successful club.

They are not being biased on this occasion.

Well done Big man, keep it up. Still a bit to go before you can compare him to Hateley.

Ok bornabear, after the best part of the day indulging your deflection tactics, time to get back to the actual debate. If You are arguing that I'm wrong about charles buying his shares at a penny each then how much did he pay oh knowledgeable one??Wrong.
This is a "once upon a time" story, sent out by RST etc to demonise CG.
ALL shares (in all Companies) are 1p shares, check your share certificate (IF you have one).
They are called 1p shares as 1p is the lowest coin of the realm. Trading prices rise and fall, so shares cannot be marketed as anything more than 1p.
-
No, the night is young and the debate still fresh, and i feel a bit of a bromance developing?Tut tut, resorting to swearing is tantamount to losing the debate, which you have just lost.
Shame you don't know much, may I suggest you arm yourself with facts, not myths, before you start typing.
We are both fans of the most successful Club in Scotland, so let's agree to disagree on this topic.

Calm down pal. let's try another way, if I accept it was 1p per share, how many did he buy ?.
ok deep breath in and ahhhh, ok i`m relaxed now. Fuck off!Calm down pal. let's try another way, if I accept it was 1p per share, how many did he buy ?.

Chick Young tonight on Sportsound after the Morton match mentions the Old Firm. Presenter Richard Gordon immediately intervenes by saying, is there an Old Firm anymore? Once again BBC pushing their propaganda.
