  1. Just been corrected it was Marrocci that scored and after seeing it again on YouTube it's not as good as I remembered. McManus volley was a peach....Never mind goals against what about big Bert's at Hampden?
  2. Conte for Juventus at Ibrox to make it 4 nil I think. Never like seeing the Gers get beat but that had to be one of the best teams ever to play at Ibrox. Ravanelli, Viali and Del Piero in their prime, a joy to watch. Remember the whole stadium clapping them off the park.
  3. You've not lived if you've never had a song song. It can't be described in words you need to experience it to understand it.
  4. Swallow hotel. Won't get a song song or anything but if your just looking for a beer before the game it is child friendly.
  5. What he has done will never be forgiven. Having sat next to him during an OF game and hearing some of the comments come out his mouth I know he did care about the club. I reckon he has been very badly advised but hey as I said will never welcome him back for walking away. What I can't do though is say he was a shite player because of this. So nobody on RM has called him a taig?
  6. Your full of shit. Always gave 100% when he played and he sat behind me during many games and you could tell he really cared. Makes it a harder pill to swallow that he done what he done. Will never forgive him but can't listen to all this shite that he was a crap player, taig etc
  7. So sad that he will never be welcome back at Ibrox. Could have been a legend.
  8. We had the best chance of doing so with his team outside 92/93 obviously. That team were capable of brating anyone in Europe o their day. Luck was against us in Munich when we played Bayern off their own park. Don't think he reacted well to O'Neil but in know way blame him for our debt. O'Neil spent about the same we just had people like Bain trying to bring money in which was our biggest downfall.
  9. I know don't think he was big on individualism more about the team. Heard him and Bergkamp never got on when he was th Dutch manager. As I've said an absolute legend but if we could cross breed his tactical ability and eye for a player with Wattie's man management skill we would have been world beaters. Maybe somebody like Paul Le Guen could fit that mould?
  10. Not moaning about the money he spent just felt he moved players on and brought in poorer players or just bought for the sake of a new player. Moore and Amorouso were emense but he brought in Konterman and dropped Moore. I am trying to make the point that if he had man managed the squad we had rather than always looking for somebody new we would have had a better chance of winning a European trophy. The Little General is stil a legend.
  11. Nothing to do with debt or money spent. Always felt that he was never happy unless buying new players. The most technically gifted team I have ever saw in the famous jersey but always remember Albertz and Tugay being pushed out the door to finance his next signing. Will always love the the Little General but will always wonder what if he had just concentrated on keeping a settled squad.
  12. Nerlinger rose like the preverbial salmon. Shota was immense think wages was the problem when he had to go. Done a job for AZ for a good few years after he left.
  13. Greatest player I've ever had the pleasure of watching in a Rangers jersey. Great clips hadn't seen a lot of the Denmark ones. Reckon he could still do us a turn.
  14. Personally I miss the old firm games. No better feeling than beating your biggest rivals. Derby games are the biggest and best for any real football fan that supports any team in any country. Think if we say I hope we never play them again are not really football fans.
