  1. I completely agree with this post and the comments regarding the OP's motivations for starting this thread (A Great Picture) in the first place are a good illustrative example of the double standards on display here.
  2. Be interesting to know how these things come about. I know there is a system of warnmings as I've had one myself. I probably asked for it (although nothing I said remotely approched the bilious example Yellowcross gives in his post above, and nor did Batman for that matter) and admin seemed to be fair about things. Can an admin just ban somebody off their own back or do they consult each other? What about the warnings...was Batman (and he did act like a twat at times) given warnings and the chance to change his behaviour? Admin and mods probably have their own wee forum or 'staff room' where they discuss members and the forum in general. They probably follow a few unwritten guidelines or rules which loosely represent the ethos of the forum and then use their individual judgement, maybe after having consulted each other about it first. Bottom line with batman might be that he was judged to be causing too much shit on here and removed. That is only speculation though, of course.
  3. It's usually the same 3 or 4 posters on here that accuse people of being tims on here for disagreeing with them or having a point of view that 'outrages' them. I've not seen admin do that anywhere on here yet - so I guess they must have been monitoring him closely and come to that conclusion and took action, which we'll just have to trust was correct. Personally, I think they were only trying to act in the best interests of the forum and forum harmony. go and complain to the mods if you are not happy, if you dish it out be prepared to take it back. I don't need to complain about anything, admin/mods read the forum more than I do. They know when to step in, when they need to calm things down.
  4. Although if he's shite for us, I'll hate him.

  6. I might have believed you if you had said it was only a figure of speech (the sick).
  7. What the fuck is an indigenous Brit? Ahhhhh, the very vomit-inducing type of person i was alluding to.....keep scratching that itch. What do you normally vomit into when you're corresponding with me, your house must be fuckin' barking a sick by now.
  8. To absent friends, may they always be remembered.
  9. Aye very good. here's a fact for you to mull over. Mark has never put himself up as a candidate for the board. Nor is he likely to. If a bigot like you could keep personal hatred out of a fairly well debated thread then that would be much appreciated The only person administering hatred on this thread is you - against anybody who dares to speak out against Dingwall. You've done it a few times now - you're like a wasp round an open can of coke on a hot day. What's wrong with justiston expressing his opinion if he wants to, it's not meant to be hate-filled or anything else (as he'll probably tell you himself if you ask him) - just his perception of the man and his views. Fair enough if you want to accuse him of not knowing enough about it, if so why don't you say that instead and in the process enlighten him as to how he's got it all so wrong?
  10. That's a fucking outrageous thing to say. Im used to it now on these boards. Never thought some fellow gers fans were like this. Just aswell I never get hassle at Ibrox. Everybody is welcome in the Rangers family mate, if anybody has any f*cking off to do, it's c*nts like that that tell you to go home. Maybe I'm wrong but I thought he just meant he was a Tim? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows but himself. Easy for him to say it was meant either way though, so it makes no odds I guess. http://forum.rangersmedia.co.uk/index.php?...t&p=2475153

  12. You're absolutely spot on mate - Dingwall's bawbaggery strikes again. ScotBear - I respect you so I'll try and spell this out for you. The report in todays Record has no substance to it whatsoever. It's a shot in the dark. saying that, I believe you aren't a member so I fail to see how you could be privy to what is best for the RST. If you feel it could be better run then join and put yourself up for election. NonBear - Whatever. You know the square root of hee haw when it comes to Rangers Here we go again.
  13. You're absolutely spot on mate - Dingwall's bawbaggery strikes again. you dont even know the facts, so how can you judge the man. I don't need to know the facts, I've fell out with him before on FF and I know he's a bawbag.

  15. Sad story. What a nice gesture from big Kris though.
  16. A man not afraid to speak his mind - refreshing to see on this board mate. The only future for Rangers is as you have pointed out in your post - we will not long be associated with this type of stuff (any more) and not a moment too soon either. To be proud of Rangers success and the football they play on the road to that success is my concern. We are the people.
  17. I kind of see what you mean. I sort of agree with you actually. Whilst club means more to me in terms of what I get out of it - i.e. more frequent games and what not, that sense of pride, I do get the same sense of pride when watching Scotland play too - I think it's just because Scotland play less often that I choose my club in preference to my country, but in that regard I see the two as separate anyway. But yeah, you make a valid point. Cheers, I probably came across wrong anyways, as obviously I don't expect every fan to support Scotland over Rangers, as like you said, they play about a 10th of the amount of games a year - just the following of them. All opinions in the end though

  19. I disagree with you on three accounts. *Many Rangers fans do support England and are mature enough to ignore the outdated ramblings of the Tartan Army *You must be off your head to want Scotland to win before Rangers in an Auld Enemy/Old Firm trade-off.However,I respect that it is a personal preference.I'm not saying your'e wrong but I feel like a different species to anyone who puts country before club in any circumstance. *I don't see what's funny about being good at swimming or Polo.I don't watch those sports but I can imagine that they must involve a lot of skill and dedication. And it sounds like jealousy on your behalf that you will only support England in those scenarios. That's my take on it anyway. I personally can't recodnise some one as a football fan who says they support Rangers, but then choose another country - they are basically just glory hunting, or not following Rangers for footballing reasons if they pick and choose who to support. The old myth "you don't pick Rangers, they pick you" or along those lines - but strangely that doesn't apply to national teams alot... You mean you can't support any team but Rangers or else you're not a football fan? If that's what you're saying, I don't agree with you. I support Rangers, Scotland, Man Utd then England - in that order. And I consider myself a football fan, in fact it could be argued that an enthusiastic football fan will follow the progress of more than just one team because of their passion for the game of football.

I too support England in football as long as that doesn't conflict with the interests of the Scottish national team, and would also rather see Rangers beat Celtic in a derby game than Scotland beat England any day of the week. A very well thought out post indeed.
  21. I would like to issue a sincere apology to anybody I personally insulted in this thread. I am sorry things got so heated, and I was bang out of order in my replies to some of you. Hopefully we can let bygones be bygones and move on. :beer2: trubear
