  1. My husband and I (both Bears) work on the Wirral and live in Manchester, so we might just get there!
  2. Wish they'd play at Old Trafford, we live quite close and could get there easy. Would like to see a game against Chelsea though
  3. Glad to hear he's making a recovery! Hope he enjoyed the game as well!
  4. Can anyone tell me the best place to buy the sponsored top? I'm after them for my husband / dad / father-in-law (so all adult) and live in Manchester. Thanks all! xx
  5. I'd first improve the toilets - last time we were there they were dreadful! Then I'd buy Van Persie and invest in the youth - they are after all tomorrow's team. I'm quite fond of Ally so would prob keep him for a bit!
  6. We had a similar query when we went with my husband's Mum. She's 68 but (lucky her) only looks about 50. No problems though, just handed over the ticket.
  7. Me I hope! Having seen it, I can believe it. Is a double pane (the lead and glasswork is on both sides) and is very heavy in a solid wood door. I've found a courier service quoting less than half than that though and the listing says you're welcome to arrange your own so that's my plan.
  8. I asked my Dad about this actually, as he's great on all things Gers Trivia. He says the club was "founded" in 1872, but "established" in 1873. I'm any excuse for a party, so I don't mind celebrating the 140 years this year again! Lucy xxx
  9. No, they're letting the auction run, rather than take any offers. Got my eye on it though! My husband is very hard to buy for so I like to find something unusual! Lucy xxx
  10. Went to view this today - can confirm that it is Rangers blue. Turned out the house it's in is only 15 mins from where I work, small world . The seller is a nice posh lady (though no gers knowledge at all) - went with my work colleague and she described her as "a young Hyacinth Bucket". To be fair I know what she means!
  11. My husband would love this for his office. Big question is where would I hide it until his birthday in July???? I work in merseyside so might try to view this. If I do I'll report back if it is green (though I think it looks blue) Lucy xxx
  12. My dad used to talk about him a lot. One of the best according to him
