I already posted on an earlier thread. Why is the general sale not until "mid July"? Why not Monday?

I was on the club site today and the season tickets for existing ST holders stop on Friday. Does anyone know why new sales don't go on sale until mid July?

That lot have to negotiate 3 qualifying rounds for the CL. Assuming the first one is on the season ticket, then say 10,000 pay on the gate and then two games with 40,000 in attendance. Say 90,000 at reduced prices of £25. That's £2,250,000 plus their bunce from UEFA just for turning up. Added to this, they will drop into the Europa league for three games at, say, 45,000 at £30. £4,050,000 plus their bunce from UEFA. Add to this TV and corporate and even if they get horsed out of the Europa, it wouldn't surprise me if they clear £10 million for failure. Until we get back here, I fear for the future. We really need to step up to the plate with accounts on time and no fucking about so that we get our European licence back asap.

He's supposedly investing 600k. Being 1% of shares, this would suggest a market cap of 60 million. The current market cap is about 35 million. I would guess it is a sale by someone who bought the shares for buttons. Narrows down the suspect list because even people like Hargreave Hale paid full price for their shares.

If Bain came back, what exactly would his position be? FWIW, this seems to me to be a step backwards if he is brought back and it would simply lead to yet more cash hemorrhaging out of the club.
