  1. His arse wouldn't have touched the ground.

There would have been banners, leaflets and red card displays on day one from a certain section because he isnt a "Rangers man".

Exactly, ally being a legend shouldn't warrant extra time in the job as a manager, he lacks the conviction of one.

So I have noticed that when anyone posts something up like I have done then the ally backers don't want to answer it or maybe willing to answer it even. It shows a blind loyalty, if ally backers want him still involved then do it as a fan rep, simple

  2. Make no mistake about it. Win, lose or draw "this has been a real tough week for the boys. Its not nice hearing some of the things that have been discussed this week in relation to issues they cant influence off the park, but i thought they coped really really well considering. We are x points clear now and our fans were fantastic and really supportive of the boys as usual....."

That's what I was thinking would be the excuse, but did ally not say in his Q&A that the players are motivated, so he would be lying one way or the other in regards to this

  3. sorry but making excuses for Motherwell and no excuses for Rangers ...listen to yourself

how about Aberdeen getting kicked out the cups 3 years out of 4 by SFL teams ..all one off games as well ..simple matter is the small club will sometimes raise their game and punch above their weight scum barcelona ?

we have only dropped 2 points all season , cant really argue with results by any standards this is impressive , , but we have to improve performances back to what we had at the start of the season

Ain't making excuses, who is at fault for under performing, and lack of motivation, if we lose tomorrow at Forfar who or what do you think will be excuses

  4. thats a bit unfair , we have played decent football at times , along with some awful ones , what i do know was a vast improvement on last year

why dont you ask Motherwell Aberdeen and the scum about the standard of our opposition they all struggled to do what we are doing

The difference is that games for Motherwell and that is one off games, the only reason for the inprovement from last season is the amount that was spent on wages this season, we could have got by with mohsni, law,Clark and probably bell. There was no need for the others as we had capable players to play in the other positions, then the money spent could have gone on his budget in the summer. The performances have been ok but as the season has progressed we have lost momentum and the motivation has gone. Whose job is it to motivate the players, now if we lose tomorrow at Forfar who will be at fault

  5. not at all , if Ally cant improve performances improve signings then he should go ...you see thats the difference from me and you i have no agenda ... my only complaint is the club is a shambles from board room level down , and some will deflect it all down to ALLY call it spin if you like

And is the board not in the process of sorting it out, they don't need ally to keep passing the buck every time he pulled up about finances, a simple reply would be is it ain't my department. But remember ally still spent the money thinking of only short term, that to me is a sign he world about his ability to put excellent displays on the park. Now remember ally said judge me on my new signings and how they perform, well they have performed badly this season, yeah we scored a lot of goals and won all league games apart from one, but that is down to the quality of opposition.

  6. It simply put ally had money to spend and he wasted it, like a bairn opening his piggy bank. Simple put ally thought he would he able to blow all the money put to him at once and still get more at ever window. Any manager with common sense would have thought wait a minute we ain't got much income cause of where we are, maybe save a little bit for the next window. In all of this the board and ally are at fault, the board for sanctioning all his wants, and ally for wanting to spend all his budget in one window

  7. If the Requisitioners had won, there would have been a share issue within the next three months and DK would have invested heavily.

Deluded, costs need cut before anyone would invest, and it would need to be accepted by current investors before Dave king was considered, stop relying in Dave king for investment. If there was a share issue and costs not cut the money would be spent again. So what different would the Req's do if they got in and made a share issue how would the money not be spent without the cutting of costs

  8. Im not so sure, if you were asked to take a wage cut you get demoralised and pissed off, remember the way the team went right off the boil pre-admin, they new things were not right and ended up on a losing slump, wouldnt be surprised if we get beat on Monday although i really hope i'm wrong.

That right there would tell me the players are motivated by money and greed rather than the club. It is ally's job to get that motivated and up for the game

  9. The club ain't confirmed a fire sale. The thing is no one would invest till cuts is made, that's why GW has said 120 days to forment a plan and take to investors that are currently shareholders in the club. So you tell me that Dave king would invest just now knowing that the money would be let's say wasted. So is Dave king your only plan for investment, was that Paul Murray's plan aswell. Cause from your posts since the Agm you haven't let it go that Paul Murray and his lot never got anywhere near the boardroom

  10. I think most people realise that asking the players to take a 15% pay cut is a fairly good indicator that we've gone backwards financially.

How would I solve the problem? In the short term, I'd approach Dave King to see if he would be prepared to invest £20 million and offer him 70 million shares (which would give him about 51%) in return.

So then use the money from Dave king and end up back at square one when the money is spent again. Why would Dave king invest when the money is being used, the point of cuts is so the club can survive without having to keep getting investment. And as Wallace has said at the Agm cuts would be made, so he is doing what he said and it classed as going backwards. Seeking investment without the cuts would be going backwards

  11. How does ally say they shouldnt curb spending? The financial troubles are McCoists fault now?

I think it more the point if ally doesn't want to get rid of no one and keep filling the squad up, the old board backed ally to the hilt now ally doesn't want to back the board in what is competent to the secured future of the club

  12. The Rangers players are holding firm for now, in part because highly paid executives at the club have yet to be approached about wage reductions.

So many seem to be missing this point.

This is where the cuts should begin. There was a time being a Rangers executive was a labour of love and not about financial gain. These guys are businessmen and its assumed they have made their money . If any are real Rangers men its time to show your worth.

It is something that will or has been discussed, but the director costs is something like 10% of the first team budget so how can you cut it more, then only way to get through this now is to get rid of players

  13. Sorry to keep banging on about this, but Ian Hart's interview with Spiers contained some very revealing information about the IPO costs, and it deserves a thread of its own. Here's what he said:

"Brian was met with pre-arranged costs to do with the takeover of the club and the IPO. The IPO costs were high but, then again, at the time it was hard to get money into a club which was facing administration and then liquidation. The costs were high - probably too high - just to attract that money in the first place.

"Brian was faced with either resisting these costs, or meeting them and getting on with the job of getting Rangers moving again. They were one-off costs which he inherited. I think some of the criticism of Brian has been unfair. The IPO costs were severe, but they had to be paid, and had already been agreed under the Charles Green takeover. I think Brian took the view that we simply had to pay these costs and move on, just to get the club going again."

This sounds to me very much like an admission that an agreement was in place with the original investors that their investment would be repaid from the money raised by the IPO. Brian Stockbridge needs to be asked immediately to confirm whether this is correct. If it is, there will be outrage because it would effectively mean that the original investors got a barrow-load of shares for nothing, and were then able to control the AGM result.

To me it seems like the targeting of BS was uncalled for then, and also that you are hurting from Murray and co not dipping into there pockets, or actually putting out a plan that would win the vote, maybe if they had facts and not smears it would have been a different story but alas the investors voted for what the thought was right and could do a job without smearing and spreading lies

  14. Ally may not be the answer in the long run as a manager and I really don't mind criticism of team selections and tactics employed as, hey, that's football and that's the nature of a discussion board.

What I absolutely cannot reconcile myself with is the vitriol, inane and imbalanced personal criticisms of our Manager, especially in these uncertain times when having a universally trusted club legend at the club should be a comfort to all fans.

I can't get my head around some of the disgraceful personal barbs aimed at McCoist, some of which would look more at home on a Celtic forum.

Do you think it would he right if the board sell Wallace or law, and keep cribari, smith or say simmosen, all cause ally didn't have the testicular fortitude to say who he could do without. Ally is doing what green was guilty of and playing to the crowd. Refuse to do his job and select who can go, to make it all the hoards fault if he is sacked or walks, cause the board couldn't back him

  15. 'We have two summer transfer windows before then so there is plenty of time to make sure we have the right footballing capability, relevant to the competition we are in'.

don't know if already been said (not read all posts) but this quote from GW suggests some of our better / higher paid players will defo be leaving shortly and it won't be till next summer until the manager can start to bring in some quality (assuming we actually win the championship).

Or it could be that next summer we could be improving the squad vastly while keeping our best players
