  1. think ally has a bigger problem with the robbing bastards that have pocketed a fortune and spent fuck all on the team, what happened to that 10 million for transfers, asking the players to take a 15 percent pay cut a year after an ipo that raised 22 million 35 thousand season tickets last august and 36 thousand this may, fucking embarrassing, where the fuck has the money gone,it is a disgrace what has happened to rangers again.

Those robbing bastards as you put it, are long gone, so are the players working for free, cause there would have been money spent on signing on fees and wages so ally has been backed, cause you do remember we couldn't actually buy anyone

  2. Still racking up the assists. There's more to his game than goalscoring.

Daly needs a rest simple as that, or are you trying to say he the only player capable of creating chances for others. Daly has struggled since his dad died, give him a game or two off let him show he is hungry cause at the minute he just isn't wanting to play going by his lack of movement and lathergic plays at times

  3. Does anyone really think ally would come out and say it was one of his players that leaked it to the media about asking if they would accept a cut, it seems like ally is smarting at having to take a paycut.

Yes ally has stood up for the club and fans over the last 2 year but for anyone to say that he ain't partially at fault for the spending is wrong. He would need to suggest what he thought the player was worth and if he didn't then he is completly at fault for not saying he feels is worthwhile, even a semi pro team manager said this morning to myself and a few others, that he was suggesting to his board that someone he looking at should he signed and given 250 quid a week

  4. The board need to get investment into the club and by asking people to take wage cuts it is clear to see they can't, I'm more worried about what they aren't doing right.

The fact they expect everyone else to take wage cuts and no doubt it will be the little man who works in the function suites and does jobs like cleaning that will be the biggest loser while the board sit there giving each a pat on the back because they have made cuts while they sit with great wages and a lovely blazer on.

And who is to say that the board ain't planing cuts with their wages. And what is the point of investment if we can't cut costs, cause once that investment is low we back to square one, so it would back to all this crap again

  5. When you talk in subjective absolutes like that it's hard to take you seriously. Especially when it's trying to shift blame for the financial situation at a club from those who control the finances to the 1st team manager.

I ain't trying to shift the blame but the people that controlled the finances ain't really there now apart from bs, this new board is trying to sort out the mess, but ally needs to hold his hands up and admit he made mistakes In a lot of his signings, managers at other clubs get pulled over the hot coals when they make mistakes in the transfer market, so why not ally

  6. I agree with you that the playing and management squad needs to be trimmed but, as GW is finding out, that is easier said than done. We can't just make players or coaches redundant. They're all on fixed term contracts. There is nothing GW can do to make Durrant or McDowall leave. They could perhaps be bought out of their contracts but we do not have enough money in the bank to do this. The situation is very difficult. Ideally, we should be looking to reduce the wage burden over an 18-month period, but we may not have that amount of time available. As another poster has pointed out, what has happened to all these investors the Board had lined up before the AGM?

The investors won't invest till the costs are brought under control. I honestly think the reason by putting the idea across about wage reductions is to save paying players and staff off, if they can get rid of them when in summer if there contracts are ups but back to the point of where are the boards investors from the Agm, 2 points to it, where is Paul Murray's investors surely the club is what matters here why won't they invest and point 2, why invest while we are losing money, it would just be back to square one when that money gets low, so the investors will invest when they know that costs are cut. Hope that is a reasonable reply to your one

  7. There's been a clear improvement from last year mainly due to the players McCoist identified. Not all of them worked out but that's football, he's not a soothsayer.

There is an improvement yes but at what cost and we are still struggling in games, so in effect that improvement has declined, but in general I don't mean just this year and last, since ally has been manager I would say that the majority of signings have been piss poor. So in effect ally said he wanted them and got them so in that effect it don't matter I what there wages are, the flaws should lie at ally's door he wanted the players and got them, the failed it not cause of the wages they got they failed, it's more than likely they are not upto the job. So in full effect ally was at fault for these, the mismanagement of funds is then down to the old boards, but also the feeling I have is they backed ally so that the fans didn't turn on the club.

  8. I'm not saying he's blameless, some of the signings haven't worked out which have contributed to the mess we seem to be in. I just get irked when people seem to be trying to shift blame away from the suits and onto McCoist.

McCoist isn't blameless, but the majority of the blame lies elsewhere.

. Ok how much signings that have been since ally has been in charge that have made any difference to the squad and which you haven't, and how many has he bought and never even given a chance
  9. (1) What has Bain got to do with any of this?

    (2) Real Leaders never ask their people to do anything that they are not prepared to do themselves

    (3) Taking a reduction would set a good example for everyone else in the business.

As I said before who is to say there hasn't bee. Discussions amongst the board about cutting costs, just cause it hasn't been leaked doesn't mean it ain't happened

  10. From last years accounts, from what's been posted and even said by the club, the boardroom wages has dropped along with ally's wage cut, so if what another user has said on here they reckon that the boardroom wages is about £650k, that is saving just under 1,000,000 a year along with ally's saving of say £350k. Cuts have already started. Now if I was in GW shoes I would be going to ally and saying look you have 2 high paid first team coaches in McDowell and Durrant one needs to be let go, but which one would ally get rid of. But also ally needs to be asked about any player he thinks should be let go or sold aswell, if it was me then I would be letting anyone that hasn't been available for much games this season like perry and hegarty, along with any player out of contract in the summer, then also say to high earners in say age bracket of 30 and above, give them a new contract reduced wages but with incentive bonuses, that way it makes sense in the long run

  11. He could use Rangers TV and the clubs website but I understand that this is all part of our PR.

This question is really for all the posters on here who have slaughtered others for doing the same.

And there is probably a large percentage that doesn't use the internet or go on the official site. So using the dr will target that audience while it still getting seen on the internet, so doing one interview will target more than it would with the official site

  12. It's great he has come out immediately and said his piece which will alleviate some of the fears but why using the DR who clearly have an agenda against us?

Is he out of touch with the normal fans and should he be cascaded for it as others have in the not so distant past?

So which other paper would he use, he is targeting a wider audience probably knowing it would reach the internet aswell, saves doing two interviews does it not

  13. Can Brian tell us what evidence or lack of he has that bph and margarita are taking money out the club, also wanting the board to name who is behind them, but not willing to chase Malcolm Murray for the same answer , just the simple reply of "he is his own man". In that basis each board member is his own man , but does my bowman really think that men like graham Wallace would damage his integrity to allow such things to go on at a club.

    Batman

  14. People calling for the board to take paycuts, just cause it ain't been leaked who is to say they haven't discussed it, also the board will be needing to cut wages so as to not make ally lose members of the over inflated squad, but this is the point where ally needs to hold his hands up and admit he went ott with signing players , and if decisions need made who he can get rid of, thank them for helping us at the bad times and say bye

  15. Now is not the time to picking the faults of previous boards. But can anyone see investors letting the club slip into admin and lose out on there investment, last time at admonition was only one person that was losing money as such, and it wasn't his money to lose. This time is different and if we are heading to admin we will see who the real rangers men are. But this is cost cutting at its easiest it. Would anyone of you lot like to see the general day to day staff sacked, in order to keep people like cribari, smith and other fringe players? All that Wallace is doing is asking the players to defer a percentage of wages to stop ally and fans moaning that players had to go
