As many have said there are a huge amount of positives to take from todays performance but lets not go overboard - that should be the standard set and not drop below that. I need to see the team put in those performances every game before I can forgive the early season form and results so he is still on a shoogly peg for me. The board will be relieved mind, means they can cross their fingers and hope he can turn things around before the end of the season.

he looked much better when he drifted more centrally, still not enough from him but was certainly an improvement over recent weeks. Overall delighted the team and GVB proved me wrong today, i was expecting the worst when they scored. Lets put it into context though its one game - we need to see this level of commitment and level of play consistently. Until then nothing has really changed in terms of my opinions on the manager and training staff.

i dont know apparently we spend all our time training with a ball yet the players still look like they have never seen one before come match days.

He is still young, there are plenty other experienced players in our team who go hiding too and should be barking and encouraging their team mates when the going gets tough

I like him, would like to see him with better players around him.

This is it. None of the players look interested. None. Yet there is still folk supporting GVB. I dont know what he and his staff have done but it's clearly destroyed and negatively impacted the players. Not one player has shown any sign of improvement

Yeah something does seem amiss here. I think players dropping in and out and not getting full match fitness is an issue

At some point GVB just needs to pick a starting 11 and fucking stick with it, this dropping people in and out of the team is fucking ridiculous and not good for player or squad morale. You can point to extra games etc but we need to be playing the same team and players to try and find a bit of form imo. Seems like some players only get 1 game to impress whilst others get almost limitless opportunities... either that or they are lucky at what name comes out of the hat. Anyway praying for a good result and performance today

Aye cause i have been watching us on this run to see us winning...... there is nothing on display here worthy of the support this team gets. There is no effort, grit or hunger for any kind of battle. The absolute bare minimum expected of a player when they pull on that jersey. Worst of all our management team seems to actively condone it and try and find positives. There are none we are a fucking shell of a team who look terrified whenever they step onto the park.

TBF I'll be seriously considering how i spend my weekends the longer GVB is at the reigns. Watching your team is supposed to bring joy not feel like you would prefer to stick hot needles in your eyes

you're right it does sound daft, it was a fucking training game for them and they could have turned it up again whenever they wanted. We are fucking atrocious from back to front and if you and others cant see that then we really are fucked.

I just feel numb. Surreal just surreal. Even worse that some fans are actually still supportive of the management team.

The board and gvb will view that as a positive too.

I have no words just how fucking sad it is watching us and seeing how fucking bad things have got. All the excitement and joy has been rung out of watching our team and we have been left with this fucking mess.

Its going to be either a very expensive summer or a very painful few years.

ideally King should be away out on loan, GVB and the board make such a pigs fucking ear of assembling a squad we have no other option than to play him, wont do his development any harm although im worried the unprofessionalism of the current crop of players rubs off on the young ones.
