Pay at the gate today, away fans in West Stand. £10 adults, £5 kids.

I know a lot have a liking for Linfield but why would any Gers supporter want to give that scum of a club they are playing extra money?

Cut the fucking allocation for a start. That’s no sour grapes. Fucking ridiculous the amount of tickets and exposure they get while we are tucked out of the way at that shithole

Totally agree, have always said just give them the normal away allocation, its a home game should be all about the home support.

And yes that'll mean less at theirs but so what.

Said it in the prediction thread yesterday Brown will elbow smash a Rangers player and get away with it.

He is above the laws of football in this country and can do what he wants, I think even if he shot someone on the pitch he would get away with it.

Not just him, they as a club are, they can do what the want with no fear of punishments, the goading of our fans at the second goal was a disgrace and the referee made no attempt to stop it.

Armed police to patrol Ibrox stadium ahead of Old Firm match

Football supporters have been warned to expect armed police officers at the upcoming Old Firm match.

Police Scotland have confirmed that armed officers will be patrolling the game at Ibrox Stadium on Saturday as Rangers prepare to take on celtic.

Road closures will also be in place along with increased searches as a condition of entry of the stadium.

Supporters attending the match are being asked to ensure they leave plenty of time to get to the stadium before kickoff.

Although there is no intelligence to suggest any specific threat to the game, the policing operation will take into account the UK terror threat level which remains at severe.

Superintendent Stewart Carle, Match Commander, said: “The safety of members of the public travelling to and from the game is Police Scotland’s top priority and a full policing plan will be in place, taking into account the UK terror threat level which remains at severe.

“There will be additional security measures including armed officers on patrol, however please don’t be alarmed by this as there is no intelligence to suggest any specific threat to this football match.

“There will also be road closures in the area and increased searches as a condition of entry to the stadium.

“As a result it may take more time to get through the turnstiles, so please be patient and ensure you arrive in plenty of time for the 12pm kick off.

“We want supporters to enjoy the festivities of the day and would urge everyone to behave in a safe and responsible manner.

“Officers will be policing the bus parks, local pubs and turnstiles - anyone found to be intoxicated will be refused entry and may be arrested.

“People are advised not to attempt to get into the stadium with any prohibited items such as controlled containers, fireworks or other pyrotechnic devices.

“You will be caught and you will be arrested. Officers will also be monitoring behaviour inside the stadium and racist, homophobic, sectarian or any other hateful behaviour will not be tolerated.

“Football matches are there to be enjoyed so please don’t behave in a manner which will ruin the day for you and potentially for others.

I think I'm the only one who likes them. I think the glass looks really dated.

Its not like they've covered up the listed main stand building.

Don't mind them either, think it makes it look a bit more modern but doesn't take away from the class of the main stand.

Also like seeing the massive badge from my seat inside the ground.

  6. Yeah have direct debit set up.

Saw the guys where at the game on saturday pushing for sign ups, apparently they got ONE, which is pathetic from a sell out crowd, can't believe more fans cannot sign up for at least a £1 a week.
