  1. Reformation Bear(excellent name btw) Good question. It is a mystery to many who watched Boyd slam home so many for Kilmarnock last season. For me this is what I expected from Boyd all along having never watched his brilliance last year(no interest in watching highlight programmes) Boyd has never ever been a good player and thats why I was astonished at the signing and turned on McCoist for the first time after he'd signed. I predict right now RF Boyd was not in Allys plans.

  2. I'm Boyd's biggest critic but I thought he was ok tonight. He done enough for me to earn a starting place against Raith. Cant end it without a dig though,I have never seen a centre forward of his stature being so weak in a long ball situation(keeper usually) use a fucking elbow or something you get bossed every single time. Do something!

  3. To suggest a new manager could fix this? We all know kenny mcd doesn't want to be there and admittedly he's only a coach, so the question is can someone sort this with this squad?

I think I saw enough tonight to suggest that yes a new manager could scrape us through the play offs. Before tonight I didn't think it was possible, but I think I saw enough tonight to suggest the right appointment could just see us through.

I do understand it won't be until after the 4th of March hwoever what do Rmers think?

Did you guys see enough tonight?.

Not read beyond this page but I want to barge right in. I think you're bang on most of the time when it comes to football matters and find myself agreeing with you most of the time. Tonight I dont. I have been banging on for ages that our players are the problem and not the management or tactics. In my view both managers got their tactics spot on. The players showed up for me tonight and I have no complaints. Stubbs did not win this game by outwitting McDowell on tactics they won because they had better players on the park . Although we got beat I do take some confidence and agree with you there. We dominated the game because Hi?s sat back.

  4. The master nutmegger. He must hold the record for nutmegs. Used to love it when he would edge towards a player ball at his feet teasing the defender to make a tackle as soon as the defender attempted anything it was through his legs and Coop was off to the races. Coop will always be number one for me.

  5. Looks like we need a wealthy supporter to give us 20m. The Easdales I heard were worth 100m could they not sacrifice 20m for the cause or DK for that matter. We need bailed out by a rich Ranger who does not want anything in return. He or she would be forever idolised by the support and take their place alongside our greatt hero's of the past. 20m to achieve this status thats not much really, is it?

  6. Give Boyd a run of games with a midfield behind him that will create him chances (Vuckic, Murdoch, Templeton) and he'll score goals once he has a bit of sharpness. He's the best goalscorer in the country when used properly.

Boyd started every league game till the Hearts game. He played the full 90mins 6 of our first 7 league games. We scored 17 goals in those games Kris 'the barrowload' Boyd scored not one. He eventually scored his first league goal against Raith when the keeper let the ball squirm through his hands. You could say that he was helping the team if we scored 17. I can remember one great goal scored by Clark after a nice through ball by Boyd and maybe one or two he has laid on for goals, His all round play has been dreadful and,I've lost count of how many sitters he's missed.

  7. Scouting network that concentrates on finding British players. Forget trying to find hidden gems abroad .Put all our efforts into finding players who have the mentality to play for Rangers. I dont think its that hard to spot a decent player, the difficult part is knowing if they can handle playing for us. Spend some good money on finding someone who can sort out the weak from the strong charachters before we sign them. One of our scouts in England spot a player informs the main man and he does the necessary charachter check and gives it the go ahead if the player is deemed to have the right attributes.. Scouts should be paid bonuses if a player they have pointed out plays a certain number of games etc Salaries should be low and bonuses high for our scouts.

Nothing against foreigners btw just think we have a chance to take a different path from our main rivals and build a team that may have the edge when it comes to charachter.

  8. One of the "onerous contracts" relates to agents fees paid to a company owned by the faceless investors. Fees are bases on % of

players wages. Hence the ridiculous wages offered. There are an initial percentage plus an ongoing charge. The more they pay the

players the quicker the faceless investors draw back their investment and get into a cash generating position.

One of my business partners was on secondment to a certain big 4 accountancy firm's insolvency department for 6 months back in 2013 and

it was the talk of the steamie over lunch.

There are other contracts which would make your hair curl. Very creative ways of milking the fans and the IPO investors.

There may be lynching's if King does his audit and the truth shall out.

    Interesting.

Always thought accountants were a strange bunch but going for their lunch in a steamie..

  9. Not too clued up about this kind of stuff but when Green took over was he not backed by faceless consortiums, What did these 'investors' invest in Rangers? I thought the plan was to put money into the club and when we are succesful take it back out with a wee profit. Instead it seems the plan was to get control of the club and hope someone with big bucks would come in and buy them out. Cunts the lot of them.
