If everyone is fit, I would go with this..

    Foderingham

    Tavernier Hill Wilson Wallace

    Halliday

    Windass Holt

    Forrester Dodoo MOH

As I mentioned on Saturday night, Halliday does need dropped, but who takes his place? A guy who has played all of 20 minutes for us starting at a traditionally hostile, tight venue?

We need a player in there who can create from deep, all the while having the positional awareness and discipline to play as the DM in front of the defence and behind the 2 in midfield.

    2-0 Rangers.

Not a bad team.At least you have a forward line that might score a goal as two of them have done recently which is more than can be said for those you have excluded.

I appreciate your enthusiasm, I really do.  but......

we don't have external investment, we have no overdraft facilities, we have crippling contracts that were designed to hamstring us.  the ST money will only go so far, spending 2-3-4 million on some players does not guarantee that these players will be up to the task of playing for this club.

every fan of this club want us to progress and get back to the top of the pile, but we cannot be reckless about it.  this season was always going to be hard anyone who says different is not being honest.  we will get 55 and it will ne Warburton that delivers it in my opinion  but we have to be pragmatic about it.

I have asked this question before and still waiting on an answer.Where are all these people who want to invest.I do not see any multi national companies with real advertising and investment budgets queing up outside Ibrox to invest their millions on advertising and investment.Individuals and busineses invest to make money plain and simple.Perhaps those who go on and on about investment have to take on board that perhaps, just perhaps the Rangers and Scottish football is not such an attractive investment as some think. We are where we are and some realise there is not quick fix and deal with it and others unfortunately bang the same old drum and don't deal with it.That does not make the guys who deal with the financial position deluded, less ambitious, willing to settle for mediocrity it makes them realistic in the knowledge that it is going to take time.Rangers are a football club and a business.A business that is still losing money and which has had to start as much from scratch after what has been going on for the past few years.Any business will take time to build and it will take time to rebuild the brand and trust of potential investors, advertisers and lenders.

How weird are cunts on the internet, seriously?

Imagine your mates/maw/da/burd knowing you had a fake Twitter pretending to be someone else, creeps.

Most of these weirdos don't even know who their old man is, theres the start of your trouble.Probably some priest.

Paterson will probably score from a header and they will have loads of set pieces, we need our front 3 firing on all cylinders to get a result, Halliday to take a booking early on to shake the cunts up

Our front three haven't been firing on all cylinders all season as its pretty obvious to see. They have to start getting it right and this game is as good as any.If they don't its going to be another frustrating 90 minutes.

Maybe he gets criticised because he's playing the most important role in the team and he's nowhere near good enough.

Are there any of them near good enough? We have a non leader at left back who is constantly caught out of position who can't tackle and plays 80% of his passes back the way,we have two forwards who have scored 6 goals between them in the league in over 1500 minutes of play combined,Halliday by the way for being "pish" has scored the same as both these two but once again let's start a thread about Halliday and ignore the other glaring facts about the team.Halliday was no worse and no better than anyone else out there yesterday. If people want to criticise by all means but be fair and criticise EVERYONE who is playing or not playing their part as it's pretty obvious to most that it's not just one guy who is not playing their part.

He did indeed mate. Picked his time to show us what he can do. Not going to get carried away with his performances for one game but would have no complaints about him in the middle of the final third for wednesday

Yes being realistic and not getting carried away but he has managed to do what our other forwards haven't managed in the league and scored two goals in a game.Took both chances well which as I say is more than Miller or Garner have done.Manager has to start thinking outside the box as far as Miller and Garner are concerned. Both are pish poor finishers and their lack of finishing has cost the team countless points this season so far.

  7. 4 hours ago, Tam Müller said:

stating the obvious here but he showed exactly what we've been missing. Composure in front of goal. Two very well taken goals and a decent on target effort from the outside of the box.

Dont think anybody would argue waghorn or Garner would've tucked those away.

Not going overboard but i think he should be given a chance in the middle against

took his chances well which is more than can be said of the rest of our so called forwards.

What was your question again? I never shriek from a question. Ask me again.

Is your question the bit at the end about what me and the rest plan to do apart from come on here and moan? ... is that what your question is? .. what can anyone do apart from buy their season tickets and support the team on match days. I don't see how coming on here and telling it like it is (even if their opinion is negative) means they don't support the team. I've never understood it when people say that.

So you are going to keep buying your season ticket and support the team well that's honourable you at least have answered my question.

I only call someone something if they are cheeky to me first.

As for the rest of your comment - if that's your honest opinion then why are you here? why do we have the forum? are we only to post things you agree with or only if it's positive? think you need to get real and realise this is the internet.

I'm guessing your an older guy and this is all new to you?

You may guess what you like but you know nothing about me.For you to say that you only give cheek to people who give you it first, really not only do you talk well nonsense but you wander from the truth in that statement. You have still not answered my question what you going to do.Obviously there are a lot of people who think that the present set up are doing the best they can.But again tell me what you and the rest plan to do apart from come on here and moan as if it matters a jot in the big picture.

Stop being a blouse. No-ones going to protest or stop supporting the club if they don't have a good league finish.

All points are valid - even some on the other side of my view (I just don't agree with the overall view)

You are another that's incapable of having a debate - if someone disagree's with you then it's a daft post like that you hit out with.

Again a bit rich coming from someone who calls posters everything under the sun if they don't happen to agree with your view on anything.Aye right oh.So they won't stop supporing the club so what are they going to do.Come on here like blouses moaning as if it matters. It's an Internet forum no one  really gives a toss.Certainly not men sitting round tables who are making multi million pound decisions concerning a good part of their money.

  11. The posters who are not happy with the present board, manager, and the majority of the playing staff what you going to do.Keep coming on here and moaning.Stop going to the games as a means of protest. What you planning to do if the club finish 2nd 3rd , 4th even. What's your plans.Thousands will keep supporting the club as they have done in good and bad. It's what's called supporting your team. But I ask again all those who do nothing but run down just about everything to do with the club what is your plan for the rest of this season and next.

  12. Wasn't a CL game at the time but one of the best nights for both result and atmosphere was when we played Dynamo Kiev at Ibrox in the old EC. The narrowing of the pitch match. What a night and the whole stadium was bouncing.Remember being in the old east enclosure and what bedlam there was.

Crooks seems to have been playing in these games for ages, surely he'd be fit enough to be involved? Is he struggling to impress?

He is fit but not sure if he is fit enough yet for 90 minutes of first team football. Will have to wait and see.

I don't have to admit we're not taking chances..... i know we're not, the formation has a lot to so with it IMO.

Regardless of the formation you must have the players to put the ball in the net.It is not as if this formation is not creating chances but as you have pointed out those chances created are not being put away. Its about scoring goals and whatever way you want to look at it we are not scoring enough. That in my view comes down to the men that these chances are falling to are not clinical enough.

  15. 2 minutes ago, cumnockbear said:

Aye a central forward not a wide player like he's been playing for quite a few games, a solid partnership is needed upfront and we'd see a massive difference in goals scored.

You admit we are not taking chances. Its not that we are not making chances as you say we are not taking them. Both Miller and Garner have missed good chances in most games they have played. That is nothing to do with formations its purely down to poor finishing plain and simple.

  16. Just now, cumnockbear said:

What do you expect ? he's a central striker playing wide left, Miller has been pur best and mist consistent player this season IMO, liability is a bit harsh.

He's a forward mate.He is there to score goals just like everyone else.Again on Saturday both him and Garner squander good chances the same as they did against Ross County and just about every game.Clint Hill is only one goal behind Miller and Garner.HF has scored the same.

  17. 5 minutes ago, cumnockbear said:

Aberdeen have scored 5 more and Hearts 7, we're scoring fuck all because of this formation 1 central striker, 4-4-2 and we'd be scoring for fun.

The scum,Aberdeen,Hearts,St Johnstone, and ICT have all scored more and Motherwell the same as us.Plenty go on about CDM's  and CH who admittedly aren't great but our front line are pish.Been saying it for weeks and again against Dundee we are not taking our chances.Miller and Garner not doing it.Garner may/ should improve but Miller is fast becoming a liability. He carries no threat up front what so ever.

"Celtic boasted the biggest away support in whole of Britain at weekend

The Hoops were backed by more than 7,785 supporters at Kilmarnock."

Has there ever been a more  pathetic article in a newspaper?

The fact someone has sanctioned this to go to print  takes a bit of believing and is totally cringe worthy.

Do we expect any more from this fucking rag.

No wonder the boy wanted to get back down the road.

A genuine flair player lost to the game up here.

Arrived on the scene, done a rainbow flick (and should have got a penalty) then became fair game for kicking.

Unfortunately that's the mentality you are up against. When you hear commentators, managers and pundits describe former so called international captains such as Brown as battlers, scrappers, etc is it any wonder. Not words you associate with some of the games greats but that's Scottish football for you.
