  1. Probably need to get a decent marketing dept in with good ideas to take us forward.

We have been lacking for years .

Lots of good positive fan stuff never getting out there.

And there is a lot that could be done to make it a better match day experience especially at half time.

I like the idea with RFC right across the centre of the pitch as we are on the tv a lot .

Some great ideas being discussed in here but I'm pretty sure sfa/spl rules don't allow anything in the way of advertising on the pitch itself mate.

If I'm wrong then I would be all for this too.

Does anyone know for sure one way or another?

  2. I think that somewhere along our season we will lose and if it's going to happen, tonight's game is as good s chance as any.

St Johnstone might not be Real Madrid but it's a team full of professional players, players who won't dive into silly chances, who won't lose concentration and whomever they're marking.

Over confidence is a killer at any level of football but certainly here.

Am I worried, no but I'm nervous & cautious about the performance we bring tonight

    Good post mate.

I am cautious about tonight but feel we have a team that can more than match anyone in the SPL on our day so it's a win for the Gers for me.

  3. might see the best of him if he ever wakes up

moTM for me was Wags just for the goals in an otherwise lacklustre team performance

I thought it was a professional performance against a stubborn team who had clearly parked the bus in the hope of snatching a draw.

  4. yes they parked the bus and made things hard for us but to be honest a lot of our problems were down to slow play, we need to be sharper and release the ball quicker.

Too many players had too many touches on the ball and by the time they released it the dumbarton players had either closed them down or plugged any gaps in their defence

wilson's penalty was pathetic, I have no idea what he was doing but warbs will no doubt give him an ear full in the dressing room.

that said 3 points on the board and the team have showed when the going gets tough we can still win ugly.

Good post mate.Hopefully we can speed up our passing against Saint Johnstone.

  5. Ajax were shite last night but them defending better than usual obviously played a massive part in that, they also looked better going forward and I wouldn't trust our defence at all against them.

We do play more eye-catching football though, in a poorer league.

I think the above is accurate. I too would worry about our defence. We require a good holding midfield player before we are ready - I can wait until next season. Having said all that, I would not be overly concerned if we had to play them

Fair point, however I think you need to use the quote function a wee bit better mate

  6. Would be quite happy for us to miss them as they go down.

Lost status and no finance will hit them harder than any defeats by us. Perfect example of you reap what you sow, and if one team really deserve lower league obscurity as punishments for thinking thy could run the rule over us and Scottish Football it's them......

    Good shout mate. (tu)
