Green? Wouldn't wear it, but I don't mind smoking it

Davie Cooper was without doubt the most skillful player I have ever seen in a blue shirt, I feel very blessed to have witnessed him play. Loved when he switched over to the right wing and was within touching distance of us in the East Enclosure.

One of the most saddest days of my life

Not things that are completely irrelevant, no.
You write some really good posts Willis, but come on, isn't Rangers having a 5 star rated Stadium something to be proud of?

I think the general consensus is to bring the current Stadium back to its pristine best. I would have loved Ibrox to have the biggest capacity of any stadium in the UK, but quality is the main thing. We have an official record attendance of nigh on 120,000, which will never be beaten at any League ground in the UK again. That is a record to be very proud of, and we were the leaders by years of bringing stadia in the UK up to all seating standard and comfort. Personally I prefer to stand at football, and the idea of safe standing areas in the East and West enclosures is perhaps something worse looking into for the future.

Beambacks were being done for the odd game, it was thought at the time that this would become a regular thing and would increase income.
Also think the hope was for them being used for concerts etc.
That's right, feck I forgot about the beambacks, I remember the hearts 9 in a row celebrations when the players came back from tynecastle and the trophy was presented etc

he seems to have a cult status among our fans I don't get it

Neither would make a Rangers top 50 in my opinion

Was a player I couldn't really make my mind up about tbh, certainly no fucking way anywhere near a Rangers Legend though, far from that accolade.

The Govan, Copland and Broomloan stands were quality builds. Solid and made to last. As an example take a look at the red brick used in the façade of these stands, it has stood up to 40 years of Scottish weather and looks as good as the day it was built, no blemishes on the brick work and the pointing is spot on even after all these years. However, internal materials and cladding are jaded and need a bit of cosmetic work, but the structures themselves will last for many years. Do you ever feel any movement or vibration in these stands? Never, unlike the Piggery which bounces about like a yo yo. Ibrox is built on solid foundations.
