When you struggle to pick a man of the match then it is obvious that you have just seen a superb performance. I have listened to others saying we could take on the tarriers and just laughed as it is easy to get caught up in all the hype but today for the first time I believe we are on the road to something special and I would not have a seconds worry about taking on the Tims. How far we have progressed in 6 months is actually quite frightening.

Like yourself i had my reservations, but after the manner in which we destroyed Dundee today we need not fear anyone in Scotland. Tbh they were very fortunate to leave with only a 4-0 scoreline, but in reality we completely humiliated them. You could tell that they really didn't know what hit them.

  2. A foolish man and a non entity of a player, who has only served to make a total c*nt of himself, away and ponder on it Harkins and in future if you can't do the business on the park, keep your big trap shut off it.

  3. A sensible decision to make it pay at the gate, maximise the potential late comers, think it will be a decent crowd by kick off, it's live on Sky, so that always affects the attendance, but some good exposure to the nation and a wee reminder that we're coming after them.

I don't know the numbers involved but if an excessive amount of people have received extra tickets then surely the sensible option would be to issue completely new tickets to everyone, making the initial batch void?

Exactly, start again and get it right this time

I mind watching that with the worst comedown in the world after a night at the Arches :(

Ye need to get a few Val's for those sort of occasions, or worst case scenario a bottle of Vodka

  6. The OP may be referring to the Scottish Cup Quarter final defeat to Dundee where John Brown playing as a striker scored a hat trick for the Dens Park side. It was 1984, I still have the programme somewhere as it was one of my first Rangers games. Can't recall if Ally was getting abuse, I was quite young. I would imagine a few of the team got a shirekking that day. It was a replay after a 2-2 draw at Dens.

  7. I think the ticket office systems need a complete revamp and this needs to be done and sorted by the start of next season at the latest. The problems that fans are experiencing are just not on. It would be unacceptable in any other business. The directors need to look at this as a matter of urgency. We should have the best ticketing system that is out there to service the best fans that are out there. We shouldn't be accepting second rate systems. I hope everyone gets their individual tickets sorted, but to be quite blunt, this should not be happening in the first place. Get a first rate system in place for first rate fans.

Tbh a lot of the 9 in a row years the standard of football overall was terrible but we had a Gascoigne, McCoist or Laudrup to do something special.

Back to the question. It's not quite the best football I've ever seen (Advocaat's first few seasons get's that award) but I do like the way we play when we are on form. Still need a few tweaks, though and yes, Warburton is getting the credit IMO.

What we did have during 9 in a row was an unbelievable ability to win win win, whether we played attractive or unattractive football. I agree that some of the football at times wasn't great, but you always had the knowledge that despite that we will no doubt win. The amount of games that we would allow Celtic for example to play the nice, entertaining football, but still beat them was unbelievable. In fact we used to be celebrating the night before old firm games because we just knew that we were going to do them. It was a wonderful time, but back to the present and so is this. We are beginning one of the most exciting chapters in the history of this great club. A bit like when Souness arrived in 1986, none of us know exactly what's going to happen, but what we do know is that is going to be damn good. Enjoy the journey.
