  1. Chris Sutton can get himself as wind himself up as much as he likes with his dislike for us...generally doesn't impact my day. Brilliant reply from BT though. ....edited because i confused myself between effect/affect... :| ... so it became "impact"
  2. Hopefully that will change with the quality to attack in the box. We've already seen more corners coming into the box since Clint Hill arrived.
  3. What I can gather from the small clips i've seen: He can score headers .... he's good on the volley ... can shoot with both feet. He plays with a confidence that borders on arrogance. Pretty much what I want to see in a striker.
  4. Wish we could start "The Official Chequebook Out Thread" ...then auto-lock any other thread with the word "chequebook" in it.
  5. I'll say what no one else is ... congratulations! haha
  6. Rossiter's press conference is one of the worst I've seen in a long time. Journalist questions were awful.
  7. Na mate, no cheering. Only applauding. In my stand anyway.
  8. Hodson played well. He played it pretty safe at times, playing the ball backwards quite a bit - but that's understandable in a debut. Looks a good signing and as most have mentioned, looks a little more sturdy at the back than Tav ... will be good for when we are trying to lock up shop. Not that that will be happening regularly ...
  9. Heard that about 4/5 times last night. ...including coming out of my own mouth.
  10. I can't see the logic. If you "need someone off the wage bill" ...to pay them their FULL years wage, and then have to pay someone else to do the job ... it makes no financial / business / common sense at all. Can't be true.
  11. Read this a few months back and found it interesting. http://www.<No links to this website>/sport/football/football-news/carlos-bocanegra-wish-could-stayed-7722112#x8DEf4jYbexPCW40.97
