seems a bit defensive but a very solid base - not much is getting by that.
Wing backs instead of your winger types(have left out Murphy, Kent and candeias as I guess they might become squad players)
arfield slightly forward in the number 10 - formation doesn't show this.
Sadiq and Ejaria not quite cutting it in the huge games but coming in and out on rotation in the SPFL.

Here's how the next 24-48 hours could pan out for us I think - completely polar opposite results in terms of good and bad for the look of our football club.
As I see it, either:
the two directors have made way for this 'major investment' and we can announce Gerrard and investment tomorrow = ideal world / happy days. Bit of excitement back.
OR
No investors yet found to replace or assurances to Gerrard today so he then politely declines and we look like asshats.
I really hope it isn't the latter.

with the amount of press this has drummed up and the anticipation I'm actually just hoping it gets over the line to avoid another McInnes-like shambles amplified by 100 with his profile- this would show the English we can't do a deal to save our lives and are as incompetent as we're made out.
