  1. Can't see us going for Warnock to be honest. The biggest and most consistent rumour I've heard, and it is only a rumour, is Alex Neill.
  2. I'm a better option than Murty and I've never managed a team in my life. To be honest I'm sick listening to the guy crawling up everyone's arse. Sooner he's back with the youth team the better.
  3. Kerrydale Street's that way - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - ->
  4. Funny how people say Walter's too old and yet both him and Warnock were born in 1948. I know which one I'd rather have - and it ain't Warnock.
  5. Loosely translated he said that Murty was a nice guy but not the man to lead Rangers back to the glory days.
  6. 'Rangers are the only team in Scotland' Neil Warnock makes claim as he 'defends' our game. Neil Warnock has disputed Joey Barton’s claim Scottish football is "pathetic", insisting "it’s on its way back". Barton blasted our game on the radio yesterday as he again trolled Scott Brown. The Rangers failure has been a critic of Scottish football since he was axed by the Ibrox giants and sent home with his tail between his legs. Cardiff City boss Warnock was asked to respond to Barton’s latest dig on Alan Brazil’s popular morning talkSPORT show. He defended Scottish football but attempted to wind up big celtic fan Brazil by claiming there’s only one team in Scotland – and that’s Rangers. I remember Brenda waxing lyrical about celtic being an iconic club just before Fritzl got the chequebook out and offered him the job. Wonder if Warnock's putting himself in the frame here to be our next Manager? Thoughts?
  7. I don't think he could resist the challenge or turn down the club he's loved since he was a wee boy growing up in Carmyle. For me, it would feel as if we're finally back on the road to greatness once again.
  8. It s a fact. Walter was prepared to meet with the SFA. It may only have been out of common courtesy, but he was prepared to listen to what they had to say. The moment he sensed they were dragging their heels he pulled the rug from beneath their feet. Walter's not a man to be messed with. I don't think he could turn down Rangers if the Board were big enough to make that call.
  9. No, it's not easy. But King and the Board have made such a colossal fuck up of the last three appointments they simply cannot afford to get it so badly wrong again. For me, there is one outstanding candidate - Walter Smith. Would he come back? I honestly don't know - but we should be asking the question. In my opinion Walter & Jimmy Nick would be a formidable team. Both know what we're all about and what it takes to win at Rangers. The appointment of Smith would also re-energise an increasingly apathetic support that's almost at breaking point due to the mediocrity and lack of leadership both on and off the park. It's HUGE ask. I get that, I really do. But the fact that Walter was ready to discuss the Scotland job with the SFA tells me he believes there's life in the old dog yet. Ask the question!!!!
  10. Easterhouse is/was always True Blue - especially Wellhouse where I was brought up.
  11. I've never claimed to be an Itk poster but know Graeme Park very well and went to the same primary school as Dave King - Netherton Primary in Castlemik. He lived in the Cop houses in Drakemire Drive next door to Edmunds Dairy which is where he started out as a milk boy. Being bright academically he won a bursary to Allan Glen's which was a fee paying school back then. Me? I flitted to Easterhoose and went to Cranhill Secondary. It was that rough we used to get the day aff oan McGraw's Birthday.
  12. Only the idiots. Admin have confirmed my credentials. Nobody likes me.....
  13. Never thought I'd find myself agreeing with you on anything. But you've pretty much nailed it here!
  14. Graeme Park chose Caixinha but did speak to King before rubber stamping the deal to bring him here. Park truly believed he had found a flower in the dirt. It's no secret there is no love lost between the Park's and King - that's not a healthy situation for any business. But the reality is that we'll never topple celtic with King at the helm. Unfortunately the celtic hierarchy also know this and see him as no more than a figure of fun.
  15. MA or Stewart Robertson would require King's approval before appointing any new Manager. That aside, King's just not the man to lead us back to where we belong.
  16. We're going nowhere under him. The man seems totally incapable of identifying a proper Manager and bringing him to Ibrox. The supporters have backed the club to the hilt and we really do deserve so much better than The Loaf, The Bullfighter and the hapless Murty. None of these guys should ever been appointed in the first place. The transparency he promised us was just another play on words. Please fuck off Dave. You're not fit to be Chairman of Rangers!
  17. The midfield anchor man we've been screaming out for. We should be looking to bring him to Ibrox in the Summer. Thoughts?
  18. Get rid of Goss, Halliday, Cardoso, Kranjcar, Hodson, Herrera, Alves, O'Halloran, Forester, Dodoo, Pena & Alnwick just for starters. Any decent offer for Morelos, Windass or Fod should also be looked at. An awful lot of wages going out there that could be spent on better players.
  19. Frighteningly average and not of the standard required if we're serious about challenging for the title next season.
  20. If the Board had any sense they'd be on the blower to Walter Smith and offer him whatever it takes to save the club. It's a huge ask, but one I don't think the great man himself could turn down.
  21. A substandard board with a substandard team. The only thing great about us - is us! Dave King's not the man to lead us back to the glory days and the sooner he fucks off the better!
  22. The Board have shown a grotesque dereliction of duty by appointing him in the first place. He's so far out of his depth he's drowning ~~~~\O/~~~~~
