  1. Aye. He's got talent and a good manager will bring it out of him. Not an 11 million quid player tho
  2. LOL. I never said Stevie G should be sacked. Just pointed out that we've been committing the same mistakes with appointing pish managers and letting them buy pish players, and with no idea how to build a team. I clearly said its too early to say if SG will work out but it is a risk appointing a man with NO managerial experience. Now excuse me as I have to head off to Parkhead to watch my team. Is that OK Mr Fucking Angry?
  3. We cant buy quality. Its out of our price range. what we need is a quality manager that can get the players we have producing the goods. are we going to change the entire squad every season? Stevie clarke is a quality manager and he turned Killie around without spending money. Neil Lennon [I know] did the same with Hibs. Brenda did the same with celtic, although he did spend money he got the players they had playing. We've had dud manager after dud manager. Stevie G may be the one but we've taken a big risk here. Time will tell. Wishing that we can buy a team is pointless. We dont have the money. We need a manager to build one.
  4. I'd say hes a confidence player. Add to that his age. If he'd put away one against celtic then we'd be seeing a different player. You can see he's hot-headed, reacts to the crowd. Getting pelters at Ibrox and them cunts ironically shouting his name has badly affected him. If we had an older established calmer man to play with him, take him under his wing, then we'd see the old Buffalo. I'd prefer not to comment on Windass.
  5. A play maker,a No 10, call it what you will. the boy Ejaria put a great ball through to Middleton but there was little else.
  6. Watching a re-run is easier than being at the game. No pressure and no influence from 50,000 bears screaming at every error. I have three points. 1. First competitive game with new players, management and tactics so you cant draw too many conclusions on whether we will be better this season or not. But if pushed to, I would have to say it wasnt encouraging. Crowd needs to be patient, players looked nervous as we were last night. aye you paid your money and you have a right to react but just mind actions have consequences. 2. Goals and where they coming from? A goalie error and a soft pen arent impressive and the misses were bad. We need a striker badly. El buffalo had a good few months but has lost his mojo in 2018. The misses against Ayr and Them last season were worrying for our only striker to make. Mon Stevie get it sorted. 3. We better not be planning on this patient, slow build up against poor teams with 10 man defences. We'll drop loads of points at home again and the crowd will be on the team's back from start to finish. We need to be running at defences and pushing up the park. Worked in first half of last season.
