Perhaps just before McKinnon was a centre half called Patterson - Perhaps I am wrong there ! My memories go back a bit before then though to 'Niven/Ritchie, Shearer,Caldow,Davis/Greig,Patterson/McKinnon,Baxter 'bowdown',Scott/Henderson,McMillan,Millar,Brand,Wilson. My first post though I have been following for a long time ! A boyhood Ger's fan, work took me away from Bearsden (yes) 45 years ago (now 71) to the south of England so supporting has been somewhat difficult and watching the limited footage available on TV was the extent of it ! Stephen Gerrard is indeed a class act and, although he doesn't know what to expect in these post match interviews, he bats them away comfortably like he had hours to prepare. Can't begin to say how happy I am with the progress this closed and early season !
