  1. You are absolutely correct, VAR officials are not sat in the stand but have the benefit of replays from various different angles, and are at some distance from the action but are linked by internet footage, so are not subject to pressure or bias ! It really is a no brainer !
  2. But VAR is only 'interested' in certain circumstances ( game changing incidents ) mainly around the boxes and not minor infringements !
  3. I understand your point but every decision taken by any referee will either meet with approval from one team and not the other ( be it us or the SCUM ) ! So if VAR was employed in a game, both sets of supporters, whether or not happy about a decision, would be able to see that it was the correct decision - hence my suggestion that the 'panel' was not located in Scotland thus eliminating any suggestion of bias which, of course, is what we experience now !
  4. Sorry but I disagree as suggested in my post around 21.00 hrs !
  5. VAR for me is the way to go ! The SFA could utilise ex EPL/ EFL referees who don't need to be adjacent the action given the wonders of the internet and, using VAR, that would give us an impartial reaction to those issues which need to be addressed in game time. Trouble is the SFA would do Sweet F. A. to change the status quo, vested interests and all that ?
  6. We now have an opportunity to hate them all over again ! 👞
  7. I thought at that stage we looked more like 9 v 10 !
  8. The Peados are always revolting !
  9. I don't disagree - that would leave a few heads being scratched !
  10. Thanks for clearing that up - 18 months had stuck in my mind !
  11. Is that what his loan contract is, I thought it was for longer ?
  12. I understand what you are saying but, sadly, we ended up winning only 4-0 today which is completely unacceptable !
  13. For me, some say and perhaps I agree, Steven Davis, at 33, is not doing that well so far and I seriously hope he will come on when fitness comes up to expectation. However it has to be said that Jermain Defoe is 36 and, to my mind, is showing rather better form witness today, apart from his obvious sharpness and awareness, he was tracking back and defending - he certainly went a long way to convincing me about his fitness - perhaps I am wrong ! The conundrum of how to play him, with or without Alfie remains !
  14. V, thanks for posting these - enjoyed !
  15. He got 45 minutes against HJK scored a header and immediately after was possibly culpable for the equalizer by switching off ! I wouldn't be surprised to see him start tommorow !
  16. Goldson has also scored two or three - missed a fair number too but at least that means he is finding the positions which is good !
  17. I agree and this shouldn't be underestimated !
  18. Good thread and love your thread title mate !
  19. I agree entirely ! The manager should be looking at players for every position who primarily are suitable to play in the position which his 'set up' requires. Shoehorning them into unfamiliar positions is just wrong and potentially is asking for trouble. It surely also hampers the progress/development of the team.
  20. Surely it makes sense to either sign Shankland from Ayr or recall Hardie from livi or even both of those. Shankland ablue nose and Hardie a player on loan. Neither would cost anything to bring back. Shankland is knocking them in for fun and Hardie, returning from injury, has scored five in six or something. We need a finisher / poacher who can seize those chances we are currently missing. What does anyone else think ?
  21. A very good point - Copyright ? Would be great to embarrass them !
  22. Kicking Lego in the nuts must have been close LOL !
