This was no border-line decision but despite vociferous protests from Duff and Lee Miller referee Craig Thomson let play continue after consulting Cryans, who upset Aberdeen a couple of seasons ago when he ruled out a late equaliser against Hearts at Tynecastle for offside. Hughes had a clear view of the incident and admits the ball was miles over the line but he was hardly going to look a gift horse in the mouth. Seems to need his eyes tested, and i know we should still have won the game. But when you see his history of not spoting ball that are over the line, then he is not fit to be a linesman.
