But most, if not all the 'Pool fans think he can do no wrong. So it clearly does mean something. Fans of most clubs believe their managers do no wrong, unless they are poor. Last season Liverpool were beatan by a short head by the Mancs. The season was a great improvement on the previous one. The side produced some great displays. Things are looking good at Anfield, thats why the fans support him. Coming second in one of the hardest leagues in the world is not a hanging offence. United took their foot of the gas because the league had been won so early, I don't think any reasonable person would deny that. And a struggling Chelsea side took Liverpool apart in the CL as well. I just fail to see where the God-like praise for Benitez comes from. Living on past glories indeed.... Who mentioned God like praise? I never. You made that up. Liverpool beat Chelsea home and away last season, in the league,ending Chelseas home run. United took their foot off the gas. Can you imagine any of Fergusons teams taking their foot off the gas? I cant. Come on man, be reasonable! Of course they had. They'd wrapped that league up weeks before they played Liverpool and had their eyes on the Champions League. Do you think a Man Utd at full strength and full concentration would have been beaten 4-1 by Liverpool? I think not. I dont believe what I am reading. You think, United would let Liverpool put 4 goals past them at Old trafford? Seriously, you are now taking the proverbial. Biggest home defeat for 70 years or something. Absolute rubbish. Oh yes they beat United at Anfield as well. I am up for Orange parade in morning, so goodnight Scouse haters. I wish I could say it was a pleasure, or even made an ounce of sense. One flukey CL win and he thinks the Pool are amongst the worlds best. Wake up Rafa. You win nothing. You are skint. 2 years from now teams like City will have overtaken you.
