Last season the Toon Army accepted? *correct if wrong* Mike Ashley and seem to be okay with him. Gone are the days of him being the spite of the club, and scenes outside St James Park of angry fans wanting to ring his neck. Why? Just because they started winning? If they go down this year will they just blame him again?SSN reported that Newcastle offered Taylor 40k a week, but he wanted in the region of 60k. If Steven Taylor goes to a Premiership club and performs well, and Newcastle go down, will this be Ashleys fault?Like i said, im quite naive about it all, but just wondered what the situation was.
