The international break is over, and tomorrow at noon, Rangers will travel to Tannadice for their first competitive fixture in the month of September.  The visitors will be looking to continue their fine domestic form, where four wins out of four in August propelled the team back to the top of the SPL table.  As for the hosts, they come into the match on the back of a somewhat shaky start to the season, with the Taysiders currently lying eighth in the league.  This poor position can be largely attributed to their home form.  With just two draws and a loss from three games against Dunfermline, Kilmarnock and St. Mirren, United have unquestionably struggled in front of their own support this season.  This is good news for the visitors, who had one of the best away records in Europe last season, and have won three out of three in the SPL outside Govan this season.
