nachothelegend 1,932
the two teams you just mentioned two very big clubs . but what chance have they of getting into a european competition again ? fuck all chance forest have bin stuck in the lower divisions for years . wat if that happens to us ? do we say fuck this the spl gave us a chance to go into europe lets go back .I don't know if you noticed mate ,Qualification for Europe is becoming much harder in the SPL it is dragging us down to its level. We are Rangers, and are being strangled by it.That other lot qualified by default ,and they have more dosh than us at the moment .We would succeed down there IMO. Still rather watch Rangers V Leeds than St Midden.
Eastcoast Al 1
Do you honestly think the so called smaller teams like leeds / Forest as you call them are going to vote to accept Rangers into their league?Do you think teams like Blackpool who could potentially miss out on promotion / play off place at some time in the future to Rangers are going to welcome us with open arms? They don't need nor want us. Thermopylae 15,287
It depends how much they need the money and the Old Firm have a lot of fans in places that the likes of Leeds can't reach
Eastcoast Al 1
It would never get voted through by the 96 clubs so no point dragging it out again.
Thermopylae 15,287
I made the point before that 20 years ago ourselves and Man U were both paying 4 million quid for players ... 20 years down the line look at how much we have withered in the badlands of the SPL
phreeky 3
For sure the SPL is in a sad state, but why not work at bringing it up a notch rather than going elsewhere?Too many concerned with $$$ and transfers. There are sides in other leagues with lower budgets doing pretty well, why not look at what they're doing differently?
