Thermopylae 15,288
I don't know if he has already refused a gong but surely he should be in line for something if he hasn't. I know he doesn't exactly have a spotless record but if the English players can be honoured for winning one series then surely S.K. Warne deserves one for a glittering career at the top of the world game.

Poetry_In_Blue 1,043
Thought you had to be born in Britain before you could get one? But, yes, hate cricket but that guy is a legend!
Guest Manticore
Thought you had to be born in Britain before you could get one? But, yes, hate cricket but that guy is a legend! Not sure, I thought Commonwealth citizens are eligible. He certainly deserves it, a magnificent cricketer and a great sportsman. I was particularly inmpressed by his praise of England after last years Ashes.Wouldn't be surprised if he's turned one down though, there's a strong Republican streak in Oz.
