Poor transfer window?

a lot of people are sayin wev had a poor january transfer window but lets think about it;

we bought alexander, yes hes 4th choice scotland goalkeeper but we have the 2nd choice as our first choice and seems to be playin solid each week

at left back we have papac who has been dodgy at some points this season but reliable enuf, and with stevie smith comin back we had no need to strengthen there

centre back speaks for its self with the cuellar wier partnership workin well and with broadfoot and webster standing by

losing hutton to spurs was the big blow but it mite give whittaker his chance, everyone was writing hutton off a year back, whittaker could end up playin like hutton was this season

wingers, we have burke back now and everyone cud argue that he is playin his best in a rangers shirt, no point in buying anouther winger when we have naismith and gow in the squad and can give them a chance to show what they can do, same with novo, he signed a new contract with us so no point makin him sit on the bench even more

in the centre ferguson has numerous partners now that steve davis has came in on loan, when thomson is fit it will bring more competition for the other centre midfield spot, along with hemdani and adam in with a shout to, not forgetin buffel who wants his chance and alot of fans wanting to see him get it

up front everyone is sayin they want boyd to get a longer run in the team so why sign another centre forward to put him down the pecking order, JCD and boyd as our pairing up front could work and now that cousin is stayin, like him our not, he can score goals wen it counts

IMO we still have a very strong squad which will have enuf quality to bring the league back to ibrox and then walter can start bringin in more quality in the summer when he has time to look at his options instead of makin the tipical last minute panic buy on the 31st january

Not getting another striker in was obviously dissapointing, but on the whole it wasn't nearly as poor as everybody has made out.

We lost Ugo, but replaced him with a player who can comfortably play in about 5 positions is far more experienced internationally.

We signed a goalkeeper who played a huge part in Cardiff's excellent form last year, aswell as Ipswich's rise up the table this year. he is actually good enough to hallenge McGregor for the number 1 jersey.

Davis, well I think there has been enouh said about him already (tu)

We also have to remember that with Smith and Webster on the way back, and they too will prove to be like new signings, as will Gow, who will probably be more involved during the run in.
