The path would be something similar as below. c:\windows\memory.dmp c:\windows\Minidump\*.dmp This will help how to read small memory dump files: http://support.microsoft.com/kb/315263 Btw have you recently installed new software? or any new devices/drivers? Guest Posted September 19, 2008 Share Posted September 19, 2008 by blue screen u mean Blue with text on it or just "plain" blue? if its plain it maybe something went biserk with ur graphics drivers or a loose connection inside ur laptop - if it has text then it is proberly the blue screen of death an idea is proberly pressing F8 on ur next boot up and picking ur "last known good configuration" - if u have no dump files.
