spec was, its ok yeah, for browsing the internet, watching porn, emails, music etc.

If your wanting to game, then dont buy it, unless its football manager.

When considering a laptops spec, you need to consider what you are going to be using it for first, to determine what you need.

I might be wrong but I think Vista needs at least 3 Gig of RAM to run properly, so the 2 Gig in that spec may not be sufficient.

You would probably be better off with dedicated graphics rather than on board, but obviously this will be reflected in the price. With a laptop it really is best to get as good as you can afford, as the technology tends to be fast paced and you don't want your machine to be obsolete in a year or two without the ability to upgrade as you can do in a desktop.

Again though, like kingbarry says, if all you're going to be using it for are the very basics then the laptop you're looking at should be easily good enough for that.

Vista won't run smooth on anything less than 2GB , so yes it would be decent. in terms of hard drive space it's decent guess it's for music movies and so on , but for gaming well theres other alternatives. Don't buy from places like PCworld prices are distorcinate * spelling * and they tend to drop in price after 2 weeks. I shall do my best to find you a really good value laptop if you could give me a price and i'll surf around the known websites to find you the best deal. ;)
