Sculpture - John McKenna is once again featuring in this exhibition. This is an opportunity to own a piece from this acclaimed Sculptor whose work is on public display throughout Scotland.

We are also offering the opportunity for lesser-known and up-and-coming young Artists to exhibit their work, thereby offering Art to suit every pocket. Without the support of all our Artists it would not have been possible to undertake this exhibition and we are grateful for their support and generosity.

ART for ERSKINE - Art is very often a major factor in the rehabilitation of ex-Servicemen and women. The creative aspect is an outlet for calming influences to take over in what can sometimes be troubled thoughts and memories. Many ex-Servicemen and women go on to be credible Artists in their own right and there are now a number of high profile Artists who have painted or sculpted pieces from their experiences in serving their country.

Erskine cares for over 1,100 ex-Servicemen & women each year and in 2014 must raise £8 million pounds to provide the highest standard of care & support to our Country’sbrave veterans. We are absolutely delighted to be supporting Erskine once again this year by holding the third annual Art for Erskine Exhibition. The Exhibition will include Contemporary Artwork & Sculpture from acclaimed Scottish Artists.

Veterans Art Competition - Last year’s winner was ‘Flood Tide’ by the Veteran Peter Devine whose striking piece caught the judges eye for its contemporary style of art & visual experience. His piece featured in the 2014 Erskine calendar with the other competitors.

If you are a veteran or you know of a veteran whose Artist talentscan be showcased in this competition please get in touch with us at Erskine on the number below.

100 Paintings for 100 Years - In honour of this, the centenary year of the Great War, esteemed Artist Ian Rawnsley has painted 100 original Paintings of scenes of conflict from that war to reflect those areas as they are today, serene and peaceful. The paintings are available to purchase at Art for Erskine. A percentage of each sale will be donated to Erskine to help support our veterans.
