Mike Newells Sexist Army 2 Posted September 2, 2008 Share Posted September 2, 2008 They didn't sign him without permission, but Man Utd with Berbatov, and Liverpool with Keane, were tapping up and unsettling the players i.e. they talk to the players agents unofficially and without the current clubs permission. Spurs reported both Man Utd and Liverpool to the FA about it, but as part of the transfer deals Spurs have agreed to not pursue the matter any further in return for a higher fee/Frazier Campbell on loan.
