Great pundit, commentator and seems like a great bloke. Think he gets nervous watching us and can’t get into his rhythm as a commentator so don’t enjoy him doing that. Appreciate his attempts with us and never doubted that he wanted what was best for us but he’s back where he should be.

Actually thought Beale said there were no offers on the table at the moment for any of the out of contract players. I’m sure there have been conversations with Kent, though, and wouldn’t have thought we’d have let it get to the final 3 months if he was willing

Aribo wasn’t a Wilson signing, was he? Thought he arrived before. And I thought Bassey was recommended by Gerrard? Do agree that we got good value for the latter but the fact that the wins are all about selling players says it all

I’d agree with that. There can’t be a clear distinction with us as the second best team. If the league comes down to a game and we lose it then I’ll be devastated but these things happen sometimes. We’ve benefited from it and we’ve lost out because of it. Everyone knowing we’re done in November isn’t acceptable, though. And we really need to start winning some of these cups.

I’ll be interested to see if our style changes at all with the personnel. Not expecting anything radical but know he’s spoken before about two strikers, etc

Think the issue is that we know McGregor is poor from crosses so if he isn’t a good shot stopper when what are we getting? Still great at time wasting tbf but think we might need more than that

A few could do us a favour by retiring tbh. Take the decision out of Beale and Wilson’s hands

We’ll be losing Davis and likely Jack and Kamara in the summer so need somebody who can play that role

There are definitely more effective ways but nowadays social media does have an impact. Becomes more difficult for them to bury their heads in the sand. Does it make us look bad as a fanbase? Maybe. But people will start noticing.

Yeah. And that’s what we were hoping to get from Gio and Dutch players but it didn’t happen. It’s easier to get scouts to England than Japan but they have the knowledge of the market. Sometimes it works (as it has for them) but sometimes it doesn’t (Pedro, PLG)
