I reckon Gilks, Hodson, Hill, Windass, Thompson, O'Halloran and Hardie will start. Barton, Kranjcar and Dodoo will come on as subs.

Bit hard to judge on just one game, but with Dodoo and another striker coming in I really can't see him playing much unless it is in the cup against lower league teams or if we get mass injuries

I think Waghorn is to lazy to play on the wing. I get he is a hard working player, but he doesn't close down a lot or track back like Forrester, O'Halloran or McKay do. I know he needs work on his positioning, but Tav is left to do the pressuring for RW and RB. At least when one of those 3 are playing on that side he doesn't have as hard a defending shift, especially when Waggy just camps at the halfway line.

That was probably more of a trust thing I reckon at first, but it should have only last a few games max. Looks like he is over it, I actually thought Tav was good defensively in the 2nd half, not so much the first though.

That happened to him a lot last season, and that is probably why his link up play with Tav was non existent. Today they were excellent together, as I and a select few others predicted O'Halloran is a different animal now

I never said pre season will fix that, I meant pre season will change our finishing and attacking insticts etc. Only think that will change our defence is getting another centre half and using Hill and Barton.

That's not the point, you have to create the chances to capitalise on them and for this stage of the season we are doing great in terms of making them. No team will finish every chance they get in July, the match sharpness and clinical finishing comes as the team plays more.

For this stage of the season our passing has been great. I know some people on here just want to slate the fuck out of us no matter how good or bad we are playing. Remember this is our first game of the season, it isn't even August yet and we aren't even using any of the 9(Including Dodoo) new signings which I think will have a great impact.

Think we can all agree that in terms of attacking and creating chances, we look very sharp.

Its hardly our fault we haven't had many games ffs. We only had a 3 1/2 week break which is way shorter than nearly every other team in Europe, if we played any more games we would have only had a 2 week break.
