Objectively to them. Not to us, we'd finally won the league again after so many years of suffering and making our way back to the top. Didn't enter my head at all at the time that anyone bar us, had the better season. We were invincible champions, qualified straight in for the Champions League groups. No one's holding cups up against that in my mind.

They did. Dundee sacked their groundsman that was actually by all accounts, good at his job. He wanted it all ripped up and started again, they were arguing to the effect of new stadium, work with what you've got or go. So go he went. Then they tried to hire another groundsman just before the horror of back to back cancellations, expecting that said less experienced groundsman would be able to fix the utter shambles of golf course bunker/swamp that they had. Cost themselves way much more money than they would've if they'd just done it right in the first place. Dundee provide a magnificent example to people, of how not to run a football club.

Exactly. Being a "top flight" club isn't just about on-field results imo. You need everything that goes with it, a top flight stadium, pitch and facilities, everything that makes a sports club elite/premiership level. If clubs don't want that/can't afford that, perhaps they needs to lessen their dreams.
