  1. How about the total untruth that the whole of Europe is ashamed at us and the 'why don't you go home' song. You made that up, didn't you? I used to love this song but feel we lost the moral highground when we sung it at Noel Cunt. I dont know about the whole of europe but you should try watching it in mixed company, i.e English, Irish, Welsh as I have in brisbane. Goes down like a lead balloon. This song should only be sung at the mhanks, but it is now our song of choice. The saddest aspect about taht is it just reinforces how much our support has became obsessed with timmy. Its ridiculous.
  2. I've never said otherwise. Quite right, but too many on here are keen to associate any form of celebration to our past as 'bigoted' I have never, not once said otherwise, quite the opposite. I'm happy for anyone from any back ground to support the Rangers and encourage them to do so. I will however ask them to respect my right to celebrate our past, they are welcome to join me If not, let me be. I'll do likewise As long as everyone is clear of what is acceptable. FTP is not part of our heritage, as much as some would like it to be.
  3. You may know more than me on this issue but can you tell me who ? As far as I'm concerned it's all irrelevant as to what is being discussed on this thread. It's part of our history just is 'FTP' at the games. It's behind us but if that's a reason for dropping everything protestantism has brought this great club or even questioning those who wish to continue celebrating our heritage then the intolerant attitude of some Rangers fans astound me. Is it okay if some Rangers fans choose not to celebrate our protestant heritage? Read my first post. I beleive it should be cherished but policed so it is not hijacked by bigots. But at the same time those within our support who feel no affilliation towards the protestant faith should not be ostricised either. After all, we are a "broad church" are we not?
  4. I would respectfully suggest that your latter sentence is indicitive of many of our support. The traditional and true protestant faith within our support should be cherished and something we should be proud of. Unfortunately there are many within our support who believe that being a protestant means turning up at Ibrox on European nights or any Rangers away trip, full of Bucky, wandering around snarling FTP and other offensive garbage. Take the Famine song. A genius piece of satire which for me was ruined the day we sang it at Noel Hunt, despite being a cunt. Even the Sash is constantly hijacked by the Plastik prods within our support with thier "FTP" chant at the end. Dont get me wrong, the Rest of scotland has to be educated on why our traditional songs are not sectarian and in fact that they are the ones with issues by finding thses songs offensive. At the same time we really have to ditch the plastik bigots within our support, who continuesly drag the club and the protestant faith down time and time again. It is NOT okay to wander around Turin shouting "Fundy la Papa" as I witnessed by many morons. Thats is not embracing our protestant heritage, but insulting it. Excellent post ! Mmmm Plastic Prods Eh ? Mmmm. Yep! You know the type, turn up at the walks full of bucky, "fuuuuk raaa pope and ra iraaa", yet have never set foot in a church, except for weddings etc. Couldnt think of a more apt name to be honest. Mmmm the kind of thing timmy would come away with, they copy everything we do ! I was quoting my Uncle Hugh, who often coined the phrase when describing my stepbrother who continously got the jail following his lodge at the walk. Read it as you may, i was merely being honest in my description of the morons within our support. If some folk think its okay to FTP etc in and around cities then thats thier shout. Personally I find it pathetic and would love to see the FTP brigade finally eroded from our support. Im not saying we should all love the pope here, do not misunderstand me. The RC Church and the church of rome is an institution that should be investigated at all levels. But nonetheless to walk about Villareal, Barcelona and Turin snarling the afformentioned and beleive you are being a true "proddy", then you are deluded. It is something that we as a support should never condone. Now im away to be negative about Kris Boyd, which was the reason I came on here in the first place.

Whens the last time you heard FTP get sung at a Rangers game then ? Loud and clear at Rugby park. Manchester , everywhere. Of coures the situation has improved, but the morons are still there. I never heard it at Rugby park Are people not allowed to sing outside stadiums now ? Well if you think its okay for supporters representing our club to walk about chanting FTP to the bit then me and you are simply not on the same wavelength. Personally I find it mortifying.

  9. Middle to front the mhanks offer much, much more than us going forward against the dross. Not even up for debate. The thing is they have been playing without there so called stars recently and have came through unscathed, albeight with the help of the refs. We always huf and puff and badly struggle to break teams down away, have done now for 3 years. I have genuine fears of finishing 2nd nevermind 1st. WS has been a disaster. He knows only how to play against better teams in damage limitation. Ive said a long time ago, when Eck won us the league on Helicopter sunday, I had genuine fears we could be looking at a 9IAR reversal and I see nothing to change my opinion of that. The only thing I can see is if a buyer comes in and throws money at us. Other than that we are already dead in the water and if the mhanks get an ambitious chairman we are in grave danger.
  10. See, it sounds easy BUT using the McCoist rational, you have less managerial experience than him, less pro coaching expreience, less experience in the game, so, you shouldnt be there in the first place, and WILL fail totally. Fans like yourself would reject you, and, how would you expect to command any level of respect in the dressing room, and, in fact, get the players to pay attention to you, far less fire them up? I think we need Miller. Boyd is completely ineffective gainst better teams away although will bounce back and score a hatrick against Inverness or Accies at Ibrox and everything will be rosy again. EVERY single team in the SPL fancies there chances against us at home now. Unless the mhanks totally capitualte, which wont happen its 4 IAR. Its time for change now. Young players should be getting a game and Barry is finished. Has been for a while now.
  11. Whit !!!! Are you agreeing with Britney & DJ? Where did i say i agree? Only a fool would disagree. Thats our problem. Predicatble, Long Ball tactics which are the hallmark of Wattie, make it so easy for teams to defend against. It doesnt matter if Spears says it or not. Sorry for the negative first post but there is nothing to be positive about at the momment.
