  2.

however the lack of good football on offer this year has been atrocious, however at least we are winning.

The PLG days were woeful, that's the worst football I've seen from a Rangers team.

    Correct!

WS has used the last twelve months to give the team a serious foundation to move forward. Might not be the most attractive football at times but we're now in the position to challenge for trophies, and come the summer begin to add a bit of flair. Folk seem to have trouble remembering how sh!te we were twelve months ago - then again, folk seem to think we should be playing guys in a major cup tie three days after signing them (but each to their own).

Still in four competitions, a cup final, and four points ahead - quick start panicking

  3. To be shown Live on Sky :)

Hibs v Rangers Cup Tie Set For Sky

    Jan 25 2008

RANGERS' mouth-watering Scottish Cup clash against Hibs will be screened live on Sky Sports.

Walter Smith's SPL leaders secured a fifth-round showdown at Easter Road with their 6-0 demolition of lowly East Stirling.

Sky TV last night confirmed they will screen the game on Sunday, February 3 at 12.30pm.

Great news for Bears unlucky not to get a ticket for this dump (tu)

just got my tkt today and it says 12.00 kick off yet all websites ive looked at say 12.30 <cr>

How much was the ticket? My direct debit is showing £24 and I thought that might just be the Pana ticket, but be good if it was Easter Road.

  4. Agreed ..it's very worrying.

If it was down to murray he would sell the lot and make a profit and tell wattie to win the league wi what he has left.

We don't want Dailly but if these players are going to leave then Murray better give Wattie all the money he receives and quick..

Though that point kinda misses the fact that Murray sanctioned Wattie to buy Cuellar, Whittaker, Thomsom, Darchville, Cousin, Naismith, Ugo, Weir, Gow, Broadfoot etc etc. but lets not let facts get in the way of things eh.

We're four points clear, in three cup competitions and the manager says he has a squad strong enough to compete. Is it really 'very worrying'

  5. Alexander was excellent in Paris - and linked up well with Weir.

Simply a guy who could come in cheaply and do a good short term job if required (and in the context of the thread - not actually suggesting we rush out and buy him).

Anyway, heard all this before when Weir was first mooted and those that knew what a player he was were given the same responses.

  6. Would take Alexander in a heartbeat if Hutton left.

    :lol:doh

Would take Alexander in a heartbeat if Hutton left.

Sometimes i dont know whether to laugh or cry?!?

If Hutton left in this window, and it's still a possibility, why wouldn't Alexander be a good replacement. Genuinely interested why your so dismissive because it seems to betray a lack of knowledge of the player.

  7. The February 4th date for an international friendly is likely to be a get together rather than a game. Given the circumstances, lack of a Scotland manager etc. you would think that date would have to be considered an option (especially as we postponed one of our games for the national teams benefit).

  8. Boyd, despite some other weaknesses, always creates chances. Three potential tap in's / or only keeper to beat tonight. Scored one, one dubiious offfsiide and a miss that he probably would have made had he been a bit sharper.

The man is made for the SPL and the soooner he's back starting the better - and preferably in a 4-3-3

    Not that I'm criticising Wattie.
